Rude customer service regarding a deposit. The should make things more clearing when doing transactions over the phone. The vehicle test driven was honda certified but it needed alignment, transmission w make things more clearing when doing transactions over the phone. I originally browsed through the internet to look for my Honda Touring.When I clicked on the Quote site I was e-Mailed a quote within a few minutes. David called me 2 weeks later and I asked him if I could come in to test drive the Honda Touring and he explained that the dealership did not currently have one in stock,however I could test drive the EX-L. I went in to test drive it and I was impressed with the vehicle and with the attention that David had given me.David and I worked diligently to come up with a good price and the next task was to locate The Honda Touring. David was successful and I am driving The Honda Touring. The staff of Coggin Honda were very helpful and personable. I called about a car they had listed on Auto trader talked with Edgar and he said car was available and asked if I would come in that night, Drove in from Kissimmee with my wife and son on a Friday nig talked with Edgar and he said car was available and asked if I would come in that night, Drove in from Kissimmee with my wife and son on a Friday night to see the car. After arrival Edgar went and brought the car up front, Everything looked good so we went on a test drive. Once we got back i was informed that someone else had placed a deposit on the car while we where on the test drive, but since I was there with cash i would be allowed to buy the car. Then I was told that I could not buy the car because the took a deposit from someone else. When I brought up to the sale manager that we wanted to buy the car and that we where there with cash, his response was too bad one of the other 40 salesmen already sold the car and we don't care about wasting your time. Had I been informed up front that the car was sold that would have been fine but to waste my time and I believe sell a car to someone else while a customer is out on a test drive is just wrong. No attempt was made to work out something on another car or see if they could find a similar replacement. The overall attitude was touch luck we sold the car to someone else. Would not return or recommend based on the attitude of the sales manager alone, I wish I had gotten his name but didn't. More
