Absolutely terrible experience buying a car here. Actually that part was fine I guess its just everything that comes after. I bought it a month ago and still don't have the tags for it so now my temporary tags are expired and I can't drive it anywhere. Do not use Alex J as a salesperson. I was told from the beginning that the tags would be handled by the dealership and they would call me when I could pick them up. Great, that's how every other car buying experience I've had has worked. Maybe I put too much trust in them but with about a week to go on my temp tags I called and turns out Alex hadn't even submitted the paperwork yet. This was a Friday and he still waited until Monday to even submit. No worries he tells me, they can just give me another set of temp tags. I go in and it’s not that easy. Someone in finance just gave me a sheet of paper that the tags had been issues and told me to show that to the cops if I got pulled over. Yea I'm sure they'd love that. Then today I call again to see why they still haven't called me. Turns out they Fedexed them to me without ever asking and so I missed the delivery that I didn't know I was supposed to be waiting for. Now they won't attempt to deliver again until Monday so I guess I just can't drive until then. What a joke. The problems actually started before that though. I was already going to give a poor rating based on how they treated me with parts I wanted. Make sure you get everything on the car that you want before you actually buy it because they don't give a xxxx after they've made a sale. I needed a roof rack and bike holder which I was assured was no big deal. Order the parts fine and then when I come back they look at me like I have two heads. Apparently, I was supposed to schedule the installation separately but no one mentioned that at all. Didn't really matter because then I asked what it would be to install and they said it would take 4 hours and $400 dollars. Its a roof rack....I went home and took care of it in less than an hour. I did also want the ugly brand that they put on the car taken off too and the woman at the service shop told me she had hers taken off there and they scratched the paint so I guess just don't trust them for anything? Anyway, I've bought from some shady characters in the past but never have I dealt with anything as bad as this dealership. I will absolutely keep buying Honda's but certainly not from Coggins. More
