I was searching on line for a pick up and happened upon the Coggin website. Within 4 minutes of my inquiry I received a call from Harley who had a great vehicle in mind for me. I went in for a test drive a the Coggin website. Within 4 minutes of my inquiry I received a call from Harley who had a great vehicle in mind for me. I went in for a test drive and had one of the best experiences of my life. I walked away from the experience feeling like I had made friends and not just been a customer. I cannot imagine ever buying a vehicle anywhere else. If more people were treated the way Mary and Harley treated me the world would be a much better place. More
Henry Brown called me and convince me that hehad the right vehicle for the right price so I talked to him on the phone and by email to get comfortable with the fact that I was going to drive a couple of right vehicle for the right price so I talked to him on the phone and by email to get comfortable with the fact that I was going to drive a couple of hours to get the right service before and after the sale as he explained to me so eloquently the first time I spoke wth him. Henry was very personable and professional ad towars the end of the sale he was demonstrating features to me that made me feel as if I had not paid enough for the vehicle that I left with :) I could go on and on but I will stop her and highly recommend that you shop for Your next Honada with Henry Brow and his associates at Coggin Honda of Orlando. I think they are the best experince that I have ever had a chance to buy a car fron and I will see Henry again for my next one. More
I've just purchased a used Honda Accord - I asked the sales several times if the car had been serviced, he told me it had been to the service bay and everything was ok. I have since realised 1 week later sales several times if the car had been serviced, he told me it had been to the service bay and everything was ok. I have since realised 1 week later - that they had not even done an oil change. The brakes have a problem which I am going to take somewhere this afternoon to see how bad they are, but by the sound it may be the discs need replacing. The car doesn't have a warranty - but I should be able to rely on them doing the basics - but perhaps not. The car has been taken as a trade in and they didn't even clean the inside - the day I bought the car they wanted me take it with me immediately and told me to drive it for a couple of days and let them know what was wrong with it - I kid you not! I got them to replace 2 front tyres before I would take the car. Then the stereo system broke completely within an hour of me buying it. Originally they told me I would have to pay half to fix it and I agreed. But when I picked it up they told me no charge. Now they are ringing me to pay. I think I'm going to find out what's wrong with the car first. I have since been told by an employee not related to this sale.that they have new management there and they are being told to do as little as possible to cars to cut costs!!!! Update August 31st 2009. I have been contacted by the Salesperson who I listed above - informing me he was unhappy with what I had writen would be looking to take legal advice. To be be fair to him I have removed his name. Update on the Car...So far - I have had the brake pads replace - the discs(rotors) replaced. Oh yes the drivers window broke - upon investigation by the service dept it became apparent that the previous owners had attempted to butcher the inside - so far everything had been replaced. Drivers window, half of the car stereo, new disks brakes, new pads - running total so far $1280. Oh yes lets not forget the oil change. There is still something wrong with brakes or the front axle (or something like that) looking forward to fixing that to. I still need to go to the tag agency and sort that out - I transfered my tag (or I thought I did) until the new license plate turned up... I'm sorry if the sales person doesn't like this - but I don't differenciate between the sales dept, the service dept, and finance dept - all in all not a great experience. Make your own mind up. More
Mary Farris was great to work with. I really liked the fact that she came across as a "person" not a salesperson. She was not pushy or in a hurry. We were looking to buy a used car for a fair price and fact that she came across as a "person" not a salesperson. She was not pushy or in a hurry. We were looking to buy a used car for a fair price and we found it. Thanks, Mary. Darla and Rick Perry More
Terrible!!!!!! Faithful customer for 5 years and then treated very rude and unprofessional. Will be sending letter to Corporate with details. I will no longer ever service my vehicle at Coggin Honda. treated very rude and unprofessional. Will be sending letter to Corporate with details. I will no longer ever service my vehicle at Coggin Honda. Take my advise! They thought towing a car over 30 miles was more important then replacing a battery under warranty. Was even spoken to as if we were doing something deviant. More
Every call I made was returned promptly- (until I paid the cash.) Since that time I have received no (0) return calls. The only people I have been able to talk to are the switchboard operator and one othe the cash.) Since that time I have received no (0) return calls. The only people I have been able to talk to are the switchboard operator and one other employee who told me they have a policy of not sending the old title for 15 days after receipt of payment which is a totally unacceptable and contrary to what I was told at closing. I was also promised a carfax, an extra key, and was told that they had given me everything I needed to get a plate in my home state. All three have proven to be untrue. I have still received no response from any of the many calls which resulted in my leaving messages. Not a good way to conduct business! More
After contacting several Honda dealerships, I purchased a new auto from Coggin Honda. This was based not only on price, but on courteous service, product knowledge, follow-up, quick response and general appe new auto from Coggin Honda. This was based not only on price, but on courteous service, product knowledge, follow-up, quick response and general appearance of the showroom and service department. After all, what value is there in a good price and poor service? Granted, I have just purchased a new car and the service end is yet to be encountered. However, the odds are that a company that places as much concern on treating a customer right and providing a clean showroom and service area, are not going to stop after the sale. After all, ALL dealerships need a referral business as well. NO media can ever replace postive referrals. More
I got a nice price on a CRV via internet. Agreed on the price for 21k. Finance department inflated my interest rate by at least 2 pts. I told them I have been pre-approved by credit union. They won't b price for 21k. Finance department inflated my interest rate by at least 2 pts. I told them I have been pre-approved by credit union. They won't budge and said I can't get the truck at that price if I don't get their ridiculous financing. Amazing , how they sucker you to buy zylon and other warranty and maintenance plan. Oh by the way you need gap insurance too. Run away next time More
I am a customer from Coggin Honda since 2005. I purchased 3 vehicles there since then been the last one a Pilot 2009. Price was VERY COMPETITIVE and the deal was crystal clear: no hidden fees, no small lette 3 vehicles there since then been the last one a Pilot 2009. Price was VERY COMPETITIVE and the deal was crystal clear: no hidden fees, no small letters. And every one that I talked on Saturday were friendly and helped me in the process of how I can recover the money of the other car I was trading in(GAP insurance & Extended Warranty). If you are considering a Honda, go there and ask for Charlie. Guy will really take good care of you. More
DON'T GO THERE!! I went twice - trying to buy a used honda accord. They were VULTURES!! Now, I can deal with car salesmen - i get it - they have a job to do, and sales are probably not great these day honda accord. They were VULTURES!! Now, I can deal with car salesmen - i get it - they have a job to do, and sales are probably not great these days, but these guys were really terrible. Here's my biggest gripe - they won't leave you alone for even a second. I was shopping for a very specific type of used Honda - so I could walk the lot quickly to assess if I needed an actual salesman or not - but they refused to let me do this. The first time, the salesman wouldn't leave me alone - although I didn't see any cars I wanted. When I was trying to levae he tried to strong arm me to actually go inside the building so his manager could "tell me it was okay to leave". Are you kidding me? No. The second time - i decided to wipe the slate clean, and start new. Well, the salesman basically forced me to go into the office before I could look at cars, and started asking me all these questions from his "sales 101 sheet". Questions like "are you buying this car as a gift"?! I told him 4 times that I wanted to go to the lot to look at cars, and he kept saying - in just a minute.... Well, I finally told him that I was going to the lot right now - got up and walked out. Stupidly, he followed. Really - if people are AT car lots - they are interested in buying a car. Harassing them isn't going to make the sale. I will NEVER buy a car from them, nor will I ever go back there to look at cars. It's not worth it. Management should be ashamed for advising their people to act like this. More
