We had done lots of research online & in person before buying our new Honda Fit. I was very nervous going in to Coggin because my husband was very firm on the deal he would accept. We had the absolute b buying our new Honda Fit. I was very nervous going in to Coggin because my husband was very firm on the deal he would accept. We had the absolute best experience with the Internet salesman, Nelson Merced. He was so nice, upfront and easy to deal with. Everyone at the dealership could not have been friendlier or more courteous to us. We got a very fair price for our trade in, great deal on our new Fit and it was a quick and low pressure experience. There was not the endless waiting and back and forth games you get from many dealers. We felt really happy with our deal, the service and the finance manager, Tam Pham. Tam was so great to work with. When we got to his office to finalize the deal, everything was exactly as we expected and could not have gone easier. Nelson & Tam are both definite assets to the dealership and Honda. Anyone in Orlando looking for a Honda should go to Coggin and we will definitely recommend them to all our friends & family. More

I bought a 2010 Ridgeline RTS. I started the process via the internet and then talked to Cricket on the phone to finalize the color, options, price. She found the vehicle I was looking for and had it brough the internet and then talked to Cricket on the phone to finalize the color, options, price. She found the vehicle I was looking for and had it brought in the same day. I was very impressed with her efforts to win my business, especially when another Honda dealer told me it would be two weeks to get the vehicle in the color I wanted. All this done on her day off. Hard to find people that want your business that much and are willing to prove it. I would recommend Cricket Libby and Coggin Honda to anyone looking to buy a vehicle. Thank you, I am really enjoying my new Ridgeline. More
After checking the DealerRater listings for a reputable Honda dealer in Florida, I was surprised to find that four of the highest rated belonged to Coggin. My friends and I joked that due to the overly hig Honda dealer in Florida, I was surprised to find that four of the highest rated belonged to Coggin. My friends and I joked that due to the overly high number of four and five star ratings, they (Coggin) surely had someone working overtime in the back room writing them. On a whim, I stopped in at the dealership after spending most of the day running errands in the Florida summer heat. When I walked in, I certainly didn't look like a person of means or a well healed customer looking to buy a car. I figured I would be in an out after several minutes when the salesman decided I didn't look like I could afford to be there. Boy was I wrong! In a little less than two hours, I had test driven a couple of vehicles (Fits), selected one, an negotiated what I still think was a pretty fair deal for all concerned. We concluded business on a handshake that night and agreed to meet back in the morning to complete the paperwork/financing, inspect and test drive the vehicle again. Nothing was asked for before I left, no deposit or signatures to prove sincerity. I left with their Word and they with mine. It was the way business should be conducted by intelligent adults. The next morning, everyone showed up on time. The vehicle was prepped and the paperwork accurately completed and ready for signature. In about an hour I was driving home. Three hours to negotiate and buy a car is pretty good in my book. Especially if the process is straightforward and simple. Thats where Mr. Elyin Perez and Mr. Thomas Maier come in. Mr. Perez was the salesman and Mr. Maier the manager. Despite my casual appearance, these individuals treated me like I had just walked into a Lexus dealership to buy a $50,000 automobile. At every step, they conducted themselves as "Gentlemen". That is, they were courteous, respectful and sincerely attentive to our negotiations. I believe they made a genuine effort to meet my needs with theirs and showed flexibility to make the sale. In addition, Mr. Perez and Mr. Maier showed a quality not seen too often in their business, "Patience". They seemed to know that you can sell more product with Patience than with "Pressure". After all, who wants to go back for another car after an uncomfortable pressuring experience the first time. Not me! In my experience there are two kinds of Dealerships, those that want to "play games and sell cars" and those that just "want to sell cars". I think the second one does a lot more repeat business than the first. It seemed like Coggin agrees. Overall, I came away satisfied, and feeling like I got Lexus treatment at a Honda price. I like that. I know this review may seem a little flowery, but its my honest perceptions of my experience. However, to put it in balance I have to say that it "takes two to Tango". That is, you can't put the whole experience on the dealership. You have to be prepared and flexible too. When, I came to the table, I had checked three sources for the value of my trade, checked the same sources for the value of their car equipped as I wanted, educated myself on the advantages of leasing or buying and had a realistic idea of what I could afford and how to pay for it. I think when both parties are prepared and willing to be flexible and reasonable, then its pretty hard not to make a deal thats not a satisfying experience for both. Thats my view anyway. I recommend Coggin Honda, Tom Maier and Elyin Perez, highly. I would also like to acknowledge the help of Finance Manager Erik Gunnarsson, who was efficient with the paperwork and simple and clear in answering my questions. More
I originally bought a Honda Civic from Ocala Honda but since they weren't willing to work with us on a lower price for a new car, Ron Bertran suggested we called your dealership. Our Salesman, Elyin Perez since they weren't willing to work with us on a lower price for a new car, Ron Bertran suggested we called your dealership. Our Salesman, Elyin Perez was very professional and friendly. He helped in making a our buying experience at your dealership a pleasant one. I would highly recommend your dealership to anyone I know that is looking to buy a car. Even though we have a local Honda dealership in Ocala, it was worth the trip to Orlando to work with the staff at Coggin Honda. More

The number one rule of how to sell a car is know thy customer. I do not know what kind of losers and junkies go to this dealership but I was not impressed with Coggin. I went to test drive a 2010 Honda customer. I do not know what kind of losers and junkies go to this dealership but I was not impressed with Coggin. I went to test drive a 2010 Honda Insight Hybrid. Before going to the dealer I spent hours scowering the Internet to learn all about the car, how it works, customer reviews, YouTube reviews, kbb.com reviews. I also Kelly Blue-Booked my trade-in and knew exactly how much it’s worth. I was educated all about the car and the available options. 3 things troubled me about Coggin. First was that before we got to the test drive the sales rep wanted authorization to pull my credit history, wanted to know how much I intended to put down and when I intended to buy. This was his first mistake. He thought that since I am a young single male that my credit rating was crap??? Second were the cars on the lot themselves. Again… I had spent hours researching the particular upgrade options / accessories. At Coggin they had about 20 Honda Insights on the lot and they were all the same. ALL of them!!! They all had the same basic stereo systems without XM, none of them had the navigation system, none of them had tinted windows, etc. I could understand if they only had 5 on the lot but to have 20 that were all the same? The test drive itself was fine but I knew that I had no intention of buying a base model vehicle. I wanted the navigation system, I wanted the upgrades. But what really turned me off was the sales managers statements about the upgrades. When I asked him why none of the 20 cars on the lot had XM he told me they all had HD-Radio and that no one really gets XM. BULL-xxxx! I am a subscriber to XM and to insult my intelligance like that made me mad. Maybe no one at his dealership gets XM because they order nothing but base models from the factory that have the same basic junk stereo. He then told me for an additional $159 they could install XM, an extra fee! Then I asked why none of the windows were tinted. He said tinted windows are an upgrade on all Honda vehicles and that for an extra $200 they could do it at the dealer. When I pressed him further to ask if that meant they take apart the car and replace it with all new windows he admitted that they add those tinted coverings meaning that in about 5 years the tint turns purple and bubbles up. In conclusion, the lack of trust the dealer put in their potential customer, the bull-xxxx statements about XM and tinted windows, and the fact that they had about 20 cars on the lot that were ALL exactly the same really turned me off. In the end I went to a different brand name vehicle and to a dealer that offered XM in ALL their vehicles regardless of price and offered tinted windows at no extra exspense. I may not have gotten the navigation system but at leas the dealer I went to knew their customers needs and did not xxxxx-foot around. More
I was shopping for a new Honda CR-V EX. My Costco auto shopping program directed me to Coggin Honda. Nelson Merced called me. After explaining to him what I was looking for, he told me that he had just ta shopping program directed me to Coggin Honda. Nelson Merced called me. After explaining to him what I was looking for, he told me that he had just taken a 2010 CR-V EXL in on trade with only 3000 miles. He said he could sell it to us for the price that a new EX would be. He held the vehicle till we could get there that night and look at it. We were very happy with the CR-V EXL and bought it. Nelson made the deal that he committed to over the phone and more. Very good shopping experience, especially since I hate shopping for cars. More
I Bought a new car from them and every thing was smooth at first, I was told I was approved and I had already selected a car ,and after hours of hagling over the price everything seemed to be about to draw at first, I was told I was approved and I had already selected a car ,and after hours of hagling over the price everything seemed to be about to draw to a close when abuptly I was informed I needed a cosigner. I thought wow this is not right but what ever so I called a famliy memeber to get a cosign after getting that taken care of I was finalizing the paperwork when I noticed the names had been reveresed on the paper work, now its going on 6 hours and I just wanted to get out of there, when I ask about the mix up I was informed that it didn't matter whoses name was where and he would note to fix it in the morning well that never happened and I am now driveing a car that is in my famliy members name as well as registered to them and after hours of hagling they say it can't be fixed and blame it on Honda Financial, Honda Financial Blames it on them but nobody is willing to fix the problem , I have been treated like dog crap while trying to fix this, made fun of, ridiculed and lied to. corporate greed has obviously overrun the customer service of this dealership More
