The man who showed me the cars was pleasant enough, but passed me on to a manager(I guess) who tried to convince me she was her best friend. I came back for a test drive. Again, the gentleman was ok. I told him I actually liked another car better(true), but I would still like an idea about the price. I noted the MSRP was about 24,700: The work sheet they showed me was for $30,000, which was ridiculous. The destination charge was not included in the MSRP, and there was some sort of “special package” which was extra. When I declined, the manager said she could go down to $26 k. I walked out feeling disgusted. I hate being passed around and I hate that they acted like the Internet didn’t exist. Consumers have a lot more info available to them and shouldn’t have to play games. The dealer I finally used for a different brand said he didn’t understand why some dealers stuck to this outmoded way of doing business. More

We took my sons van in to get an oil change working perfectly and left with two broken van doors. They claim nothing happened while it was in their van shop even though he couldn't even leave the dealership because the door wouldn't close!!!!!! They had to adjust it just so he could leave but NOTHING happened while it was there. 2 doors will not close properly....I think that is a little more than a coincidence. The worst part is we bought the van from there and it is still under warranty! They claim it's not covered and won't assist in any way. More

I was only looking for a Honda Ridgeline. Before going on the shopping trip, I thoroughly educated myself about the different Ridgeline models and the many features and options offered. My salesperson, Tyson Mergener, listened to what I said I did and did not want on the vehicle. He found, on the back lot, exactly what I was looking for; as if it had been special ordered for me! The truck had arrived only two days earlier. Of course, Tyson wanted to make a sale, but at no time did he pressure me. When time came to “negotiate” I was prepared for that too. I had researched the market value of my trade-in vehicle. I asked for, and got, the highest end of the book value. After all negotiations, I was very satisfied and bought the new truck. I highly recommend Coggin Honda and, in a couple years when I want to purchase another new Honda, I will return to Coggin! In the meantime, Coggin will be our dealer for service and maintenance. More
USED CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE After sitting for hours at another Honda dealership and getting no where near my budget, my daughter called Coggin Honda and talked to Roula who took After sitting for hours at another Honda dealership and getting no where near my budget, my daughter called Coggin Honda and talked to Roula who took the time out to go out in their Used Car lot to locate 3 Accords at the price that would fit my budget plus taxes, tags, etc. We raced across JacksonvilLe to see these cars before someone else could buy them (since there was a sell going on - one car was gone by the time we got there). Needless to say, I found my car with the bumper-to-bumper protection still on it. The staff was so friendly and did all they could to help me decided between the cars. Financing with Mr. Samba was great and easy. I brought my own financing; however, he was able to find financing even lower than my bank. I highly recommend this Honda dealership to anyone who is looking for a Honda, either used or new. Can't go wrong here!! This staff is on your side. More

Day one - Sunday (5/27/18): Upon arrival, I was greeted by a salesman, Morris Rashwan. He was polite and professional during our the entire course of the two hours we spent reviewing the appraisal of my possible 2010 Camaro trade-in and the price of the Civic Type R. After a lot of back and forth, we unfortunately could not come to an agreement on the trade-in or the final OTD price of the Type R. I thanked Morris for his time, shook his hand, and asked for the keys to my vehicle. Morris leaves to retrieve my keys from the appraisal department. Morris did not return and I am instead greeted by Sergiy Bilyayev, the sale manager, with the keys to the camaro in hand. He starts by asking why I did not want to trade my camaro in for the Type R. I told him we were too far apart on their appraisal and what I wanted for the vehicle. So the possibility of the trade-in was not happening since I knew I could get more for my car elsewhere. With that out of the way, he then checks my requested OTD number without a trade-in. He scoffs in response after seeing the number, slides my keys across the desk to me and prepares to walk-away. I stop him to shake his hand and thank him for his time. Keep in mind, I have been nothing but professional and respectful during my entire duration at this dealership. Also, my OTD offer was not a ridiculous low ball value since it was over MSRP. Later that night, I decided I really wanted this car due to its rarity. So I planned on going back to the dealer the next day. Day two - Monday (5/28/2018): Prior to going to the dealer, I decided I wanted to get an appraisal for my camaro at the CarMax across the street. Lo and behold, I receive the appraisal and it is quite a bit more than the dealer was offering (no surprise here). Now I arrive at the dealer at 10 a.m. with the appraisal in hand. I am once again greeted by Morris and we quickly began the negotiations. Unfortunately, the dealer could not match the appraisal from CarMax. At this point, we come to an agreement on the price of the Type R with no trade-in. So I would be buying the Type R outright and selling my camaro at CarMax. We then spend the next 4 hours going through all the paperwork minus the finances. I inform Morris I will need to run home to grab a check for the Type R (10-15 minutes away) and go to CarMax to sell my camaro (takes 30 minutes). Morris informs me that the sales manager said the deal is not finalized until they receive a check from me. I tell Morris that fine, but I need him to hold the car for a maximum of 1 hour. Morris leaves to ask the sales manager if this is acceptable. A couple of minutes later, I am greeted by Sergiy Bilyayev. He tells me he will sell the Type R to any person who comes in and wants to buy the vehicle while I am out retrieving my check and selling my car at CarMax. So basically, if someone were to buy the Type R while I was out selling my camaro to CarMax then I would be screwed; I would not have a vehicle to drive home. I seriously thought about walking out and dropping the deal at this point. I have never witnessed such disrespectful behavior at any dealership; especially from a "veteran" sales manager who has been with Coggin Honda for over 10 years. I understand there is the possibility of me not returning with the check to finalize the finances. However, I feel I should have been treated with more respect, especially for customer who has already invested 3 hours from the previous day and 4 hours on Monday. Long story short, I sped home, got my check and made it back to the dealership before heading off to CarMax to sell my camaro. My final thoughts and recommendations: Morris Rashwan, the salesman, was a wonderful car salesman. But even with that being said, I cannot recommended others to visit this dealership due to my unprofessional and disrespectful experience with Sergiy Bilyayev. I would recommended people looking for Honda's to visit Lou Sobh's Honda of the Avenues. More
Most horrific New Car Buying Experience Ever! Note: This is a review only in reference to NEW Car Sales, love their Service Dept. Worst experience ever, they quoted price for vehicle which was $5K Note: This is a review only in reference to NEW Car Sales, love their Service Dept. Worst experience ever, they quoted price for vehicle which was $5K more than the same model, newer year and actually $11,000 more than I ended up paying for the same vehicle (less mileage) at Classic Honda in Orlando. Even Duval Honda was able to offer $9500 less. Go figure! Check around and don't get such a run around!!!! More
Pilot Maintenance I took my husband's 2006 Pilot in for its oil change, 5/16. I always ask for Mike Hernandez for a couple of reasons. First, so the same person knows I took my husband's 2006 Pilot in for its oil change, 5/16. I always ask for Mike Hernandez for a couple of reasons. First, so the same person knows about our Hondas (I have a 2011 CR-V), and Mike always treats me as a customer, and not a stupid woman who knows nothing about cars. He is always smiling and upbeat, which I also appreciate. The car was done when Mike said, and I was on my way home when the cruise wouldn't work. It had been working going to the dealership, and now it didn't. I turned around and brought the car back. I told Mike, and he immediately had the mechanic who worked on the Pilot come out, and he was going to take me on a test ride to check it out. The mechanic looked at the cruise off/on button under the dash before we left, and it had been turned off. Since I rarely drove the Pilot, I was unaware of the button. Both Mike and the mechanic said someone there probably turned it off when working on the car. I have had my cars serviced elsewhere, and the men never took responsibility for doing anything wrong. So I am very happy with Honda, their service reps and their mechanics, and I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone with a Honda. More
