I bought a 2011 Fiesta in may of 2015 (later found out it was two months after ford received a class action for this car). Along with buying the car, Ford "generously" gave me One Free Oil Change. That was nice. So I bring my car in to get it changed in August of the same year. The techs in the back "forgot" to put the oil cap back on. Two weeks later I noticed a leak and opened the hood and the cap was sitting right there. Oil shot out onto the roof of the hood and burnt all of the oil up for two whole weeks. Had to bring it back to get it fixed. Then in March I started to notice the typical clutch problem with the fiesta so I brought it in. They apparently "fixed" the problem. Also, they did the latch recall on all four doors. Then, July of the SAME year I brought the car in AGAIN for the clutch problem that they apparently fixed. The receipt said the same exact thing as the previous receipt from three months earlier. Well it didn't work the time before that so obviously it's not going to work this time either. I pick up my car, it felt WORSE than it did when I dropped it off. So I turned around and went back. Service advisor said "oh, it looks like my guys didn't finish plugging the transmission back in." So that's really comforting to hear after they "forgot to close my oil cap." Along with the clutch problem, I mentioned to them that the door STILL wasn't working. After they "apparently" fixed that too. So they said they "replaced" the latches AGAIN. Then in August of the next year, I bring my car back again. Same exact problems with the clutch. Same exact problems with the door. They said they "replaced" the clutch again and checked the doors and said the doors are working just fine. Then 5 days later I bring the car back....AGAIN. Another new problem under the hood. Apparently the "cv axle strap loose." That's what the receipt said after I picked it up. So then, I tell Ken that the door is not opening again. He looked at it with me and said "oh it looks like my guys fixed it backwards. It locks when it's unlocked but unlocks when it's locked". So I have them fix it again. I pick the car back up the next day to find the receipt says "all doors open and close with no issues. Recommend unlocking doors before attempting to open..." Now, I am 26 years old. I KNOW to unlock the door before trying to open it. Bring the car back a week later at 7:00 am to show them that the door still doesn't open. I have them sit in the car with me once again. The little "technician" comes out with his cut off t-shirt and iPod ear buds hanging on his neck looks like he just came out of high school. He sits in my front seat while I'm in the back. He tells me to lock the car and try to open the door then unlock the car and try to open the door. He realized that the door doesn't open and he turns around and says "oh, maybe you aren't crazy." So I said wow yeah I never was crazy and I wasn't crying wolf this whole time. My door literally doesn't open. So he said he would "fix" it. Ken comes out and tells me he will put me in a rental until they can fix it. I get my rental and go to work. I get a call later that day. Car still isn't fixed. He tells me to come in the morning and it'll be done. So I call before I head over and the car STILL isn't ready. They had to order another part and it won't be there until the next day so I was told to keep the rental one more day. Not sure why it took all day long to realize they need a part to order the next morning. So a few hours later I get a call back saying that the part won't come in until after Hurricane Irma so I should just return the rental and pick up my unfinished car and return it again after the hurricane when the part comes in. Then I get told that I need to pay for the rental car of $60. He stated that "it wasn't his decision to put me in a rental and that I was the one who needed a car to drive around and that I need to pay for either the rental or the new car part." So a day later I call and leave a voicemail on Jodi Mitchell's voicemail telling him I need to speak with him about filing a formal complaint against coggin ford. He calls back and leaves a voicemail (I didn't have service due to the hurricane) and says to me that he received my message and wants to make things right with me and that he will give me a call at the beginning of the week. Well, Friday came along and still didn't hear from him so I call and leave another voicemail. He calls back and starts talking to me about everything. He never once apologized for the way I was talked to by the little technician. Never once apologized for my inconvenience of having to bring my car up seven times to get reoccurring problems fixed. He basically told me that I need to pay for this part because it's no longer under warranty. It was under warranty the FIRST time I tried to get this door fixed. He kept defending his guys saying that "he didn't mean what he said about calling me crazy." Instead of apologizing for the way his guys talked to me and that he will handle it to make sure I am okay. He told me that "coming up here and spending gas and losing wages at work is normal for anyone to have to do when dealing with a car." Totally bypassing the fact that I have been here seven times for the same reoccurring problems, two times were to fix their mistakes on the oil cap and transmission plugs. Jodi had no concern whatsoever for anything I had to go through with this car. All he cared about was making sure his guys were not blamed for anything they did wrong. He lied to me and told me he only heard from me one time. When actually he heard from me twice but failed to follow up with me when he said he would after the first time. Coggin Ford is supposed to "take care" of their customers but they haven't taken care of this at all. They can give non-customers gift cards for test driving cars but they can't cover my $50 charge for this door they should've fixed over a year ago? Nope. They expect me to pay for their mistakes. Worst service ever!!!! Dealer refuses to replace defective recall part even after going there 4 separate times for the same broken part. Each time leaving with only a partia Dealer refuses to replace defective recall part even after going there 4 separate times for the same broken part. Each time leaving with only a partially fixed car. This company is out to steal be careful!! They don't take care of the customer, insult them to their face and disrespects them without any remorse. I have yet to get a response from any representative of the company so I am going to continue to bash them on all outlets until contact is made. More
