I finally pucked my car up after finding out it had been teady for 3 hours. My backup camera works but i now dont have tail lights, or brake lights.also my drivers heated seat doesnt work. Last time I took it in to fix my air conditioner my dashboard lights didnt work. My best laugh is being told that just because you have an appt doesnt mean You will be seen the same day. This is my second time at this dealership and I got to admit that the team here, from sales to service is beyond the best I've dealt with in dealerships. My service rep was Jeremy and his professionalism admit that the team here, from sales to service is beyond the best I've dealt with in dealerships. Mark and Zach were absolutely wonderful in helping me trade in the 2021 Bronco I purchased back in December. After 3 drop offs at the service department, for the fuel pump/lines damage at the Atlantic Bl trade in the 2021 Bronco I purchased back in December. After 3 drop offs at the service department, for the fuel pump/lines damage at the Atlantic Blvd location, I became pretty upset. Terry, the service associate wasn't able to be reached because she was on 'lunch' or 'out' when I tried to ask for an update, is the reason for the missing star, that and because my vehicle was not inspected for the 6 days it was there and the link from the text had reflected no update. Mark and Zach made sure I left with a reliable, free of recalls and a complete and even trade. Thank you sales team!! More
I had an awesome sauce experience all because of Eric Redding. I was looking for a specific truck and I was really picky about what I wanted and what I didn't want. I was even picky about the finance rat Redding. I was looking for a specific truck and I was really picky about what I wanted and what I didn't want. I was even picky about the finance rating / percentage that I wanted. Eric was accommodating, patient, kind and very professional. I found the vehicle that I wanted but it wasn't even in Jacksonville, it was actually in Tampa. Eric makes sure I found the truck I wanted with the best financing that I've ever had and that's in my 43 years of life and then went as far as having it delivered to my home while I was at work because I wouldn't be getting off work until late. I thought like I was treated like a close relative rather than just simply a customer. Because of experiences like this is why I'm taking my time to write a review. Even the cells/financing manager got real personally involved because I was so picky about what I was expecting and what I wanted. I think you guys do a great job at coggin Ford and have a great team. I think Eric Redding sets the bar high and what you should expect. If I can get more than five stars, I would. More

If a humble customer cannot trust the words and promises of a repudiated dealership like Coggin Ford of Jacksonville to take full responsibility for their mistakes, then our standard for excellence service of a repudiated dealership like Coggin Ford of Jacksonville to take full responsibility for their mistakes, then our standard for excellence service has lost its character, and now fall to the hands of exploit. Misdiagnosed or taking advantage of? Reader, you decide. I brought my car in December because there was an issue with my Mercury Montego 2005 not starting and has a check engine light. The dealership diagnosed my car, I was giving a list of many things that needed repair in the amount of $8,387.33. I spoke to my advisor who is Anthony Powell. I said that I could not afford all these repairs all at once; at this time, I just need the car to run, and I will get the rest of the items fix as we go. I asked him which of these from the list needs to be fix first to have my car running? He advised that his mechanic said the gasket manifold replacement would fix my issue. I felt assured while talking to him, so I agreed to the repair. First repair cost me $1775.36. I picked up the car from the dealership on 01/05. On my way home, the check engine came back on, I texted Anthony to report that the check engine came back if I should be worried with the car not starting. The next morning, 01/06 the car would not start. I spoke with Anthony on 01/07. He sent a tow truck on 01/09 to pick up my car for new diagnosis. Second diagnosis included spark plugs, catalytic converter, fuel injectors, 02 sensors, spark plugs, catalytic converter, fuel injectors, 02 sensors. In a text message Anthony wrote "I got with my tech and he is positive that the fuel injectors and 02 sensors are the cause of the issue." I believed him and agreed to the new job that cost me $1,984.37. I picked up the car from the dealership on 01/25, again on my way home, check engine light came on, the next day I drove the car to the post office (that's all the outing I did), then the following day, ready to go to work the car would not start. I reached out to Anthony on 01/30 for further assistance. The car was picked up on 02/01 for third diagnostic. New diagnosis says that I need a filter replacement $151.64 & a fuel pump replacement $539.21. I showed up to the dealership on 02/04. At first, they really expected me to pay. Then, it was half the cost, then they would cover the full cost. I accepted the new job free of charge and requested a deduction from my fees for the misdiagnosed. I spoke to Service Manager Drew Calvert. His argument was the mechanic personal fixed my car according to the codes that was provided, and my car needed these repairs anyways. Between all this back and forth, I had a life to live and needed a car, so with uber rides to work and three car rentals I build up a bill of $919.73. Also, more than two certified mechanics have viewed my paper works since then and stated that the jobs done in my car have nothing to do with it not starting. These jobs were unnecessary to my problem and could have waited for a little while longer. Drew Calvert in the end did agree to have the new job done free of charge and $500 refund. In this world, if I do not stand up for myself, no one will stand up for me. The two jobs have costed $3,759.73 + rentals & Ubers rides $919.73 =$4,679.46. I cannot accept a $500 deduction. Since, we could not agree on my request for $1,500 deduction free repair for the third diagnose. The car is now at my house unrepaired, and they have my money. Coggin Ford of Jacksonville if you stand for everything that you say you are, then isn't only fair that you do the right thing? Meet my request! To future costumers, I've learned a new lesson, it never hurts to get a second opinion before you agree to a job, so was it a misdiagnosed or was I taking advantage of because I was humble enough to believe a repudiated company would be fair and treat me without no exploitations.
