I recently traded my 2008 Honda Fit on a 2013 Honda Fit at Coggin Deland Honda and the experience could not have been better. Cars . com called and said Coggin could get me financed for under $300. Go in and ask for any salesman. Came to dealership to purchase used car, referred by wife's co workers fiance. Asked 3 times to speak to Chad Tyler , Rob Velazquez said come in and put us at his desk and he proceded to sell us a car. Rob took all information and ran the numbers and said because my my credit he could only find 1 car on the lot. Asked what type of car but he would not answer me. Chad Tyler knew we were coming to see him but we were at Robs desk.We appologized to him.Rob said he would split the deal with Chad. but he never did. It should have been Chads deal not Robs. Rob was gone for quite a while and finally showed up with a Buick Rainer 2005.We took a test drive and liked the car. We told him the payments have to be under $300. He kept coming back with payments at $367.00. On the contract the car was listed for $12,000 and he could not discount the car. After about two hours we had enough and left. My wife checked the Coggin website when we got home and noticed the vehicle price was $9,991.not $12,000. Rob called the next day and said he could get us under $300.I told Rob we saw the price on whe website was $9,991 and said he would look into it. He called back and said he could get it under $300 and to come in. I showed up with my father and was asked to go into the finance room . I asked Rob to see the contract but he would not show it. After all the papers were signed finance showed me the finance contract and the montly payment was $367. again. I got up to leave and told Robert he lied to me again about the payment. The finance man said to sit down and we can discuss it. He said no way would it be under $300. He finally got it to $314. and I signed the finance contract. Rob told us the 1st day he would put gas in car, service it, detail it and fix the camera lens under license plate. None of this was done. There was garbage in the car, dirty windows dirty console etc.. He had 2 days to complete this. He lied numerous times and we are disgusted I may bring the car back. More
