No high pressure sales tactics at this dealership. I was actually in the parking lot of another Honda dealer getting ready to negotiate my deal and I received a call from Gwyn Nieves. After several minutes on the phone he convinced me to drive to Coggin Deland and give them a chance to beat the deal of two other dealers that I was working with and sure enough they beat the deals respectively and not by just a couple hundred dollars but several hundred. When we arrived we were met by Ricky Forero and what a very nice and professionally looking sales specialist. Within 20-30 minutes the negotiation of the deal was completed. During the negotiation Kevin St Louis ,New Car Sales Manager" stopped by and stated that he was so confident in "the deal" that he was sending a driver to go pick up the vehicle from another dealer that we wanted. After the deal was completed Doug the General Manager came over and introduced himself and wanted to thank us for dealing with Coggin Deland Honda. We then met with the Finance Manager, Tunde Aluko , and he explained all of our finance options and completed our deal. Every employee from the Receptionist to the General Manager and all the sales staff were just awesome to deal with. Our Second Experience with Dealership in Leasing a New Honda In 2010 we discovered Coggin Honda.as we were searching to purchase/lease a new Crosstour. We travelled from Daytona Beach Shores to find this excelle In 2010 we discovered Coggin Honda.as we were searching to purchase/lease a new Crosstour. We travelled from Daytona Beach Shores to find this excellent Dealer. We have also travelled that distance for these six years for our Service so it was a natural to return last week as we decided to purchase or lease a 2016 CRV. Our Service Representative, Lee Chrestman recommended Alberto Maymo, we met with him and the process began. We took several days to consider our options, returned and completed the deal on 02/16. Outstanding......once again. I've been a very satisfied Coggin Deland Honda customer for 20 years and once again they did not disappoint! Was planning on getting a new Honda and w I've been a very satisfied Coggin Deland Honda customer for 20 years and once again they did not disappoint! Was planning on getting a new Honda and with the help of Barry Stadtler, there is a new 2015 CR-V in the garage. I spoke with Barry for awhile of my requirements and he described in detail the features of the vehicle. Went for the test drive of my choosing and satisfied that this was the car that I wanted, we got to work on pricing. Ian Riding, another great Coggin employee, came over and made me a deal I couldn't refuse. Deal done! After the sale, Barry took all the time that I needed to help me understand the electronic functions of the CR-V. He is intelligent, knowledgeable and was extremely patient as we went through the process. Barry is just a pleasure to work with! Honestly, I've never had any real issues or problems in 20 years at Deland Honda but I know full well that if there are, they will absolutely make it right! They fully stand behind their product (Honda...THE Best!) and their service all the way. Wonderful people, beautiful facility, extremely capable service and parts department, in a small town setting..........what more can you ask for? In my eyes there are only two kinds of cars in the world........Honda's and everything else! Unprofessonal and bad to custumer Talked to Doug Maloney and Sanjay Hirani. They were like cheaters that would say anything to bring you over there on phone and email. Once you got the Talked to Doug Maloney and Sanjay Hirani. They were like cheaters that would say anything to bring you over there on phone and email. Once you got there, they'd say they cannot sell the car b/c some accessories and try to sell another new car with ripoff price. Drove 4 hours to and fro, but they refused to compensate for the gas. Unbelievable! More
