I brought my car in for an oil service and a problem with the tire that had a nail in it. Lie #1. I was told it could not be plugged that I had to buy a new tire, which I did. I also asked that the micro fi the tire that had a nail in it. Lie #1. I was told it could not be plugged that I had to buy a new tire, which I did. I also asked that the micro filter be changed, lie #2 when my car was finished I received the report that everything was in the green and no other repair needed. I asked to see the dirty filter, and although the technician put it in the green, it was never changed, it went back to the bay and filter was changed. Lie #3 again. My report had everything in the green, including the TPMS however, there was a comment of a malfunction, I was told they could not determine which tire had a malfunction, however, it was in the green and it was changed from inactive to active. I got in my car. No lights were on. Everything looked good, I travel time to Coggins is one hour, half an hour into my ride home my tire light went on. Needless to say extremely distraught. I contacted Coggins as soon as I got home, the assisted with a valet drop off car and took my car back to the shop. The pick up was at 11 AM. I never heard back from them until the following morning telling me that it was going to the technician. I explained I had to leave at noon. I would be gone a couple of days that if I didn’t have my car back by then I would need to use the loaner. Lie #4 I received notification within the hour that my car needed all four new sensors. The charge for having all four sensors was $1800. I told them to return my car that I am done with Coggins and their lies. I also researched plugging the tire and it could’ve been done, their excuse to me was that it wouldn’t last and that’s not what I was told when trying to upsell me on a new tire that was $537 by the way. They did not try to assist in making me happy after being with them for five years and having all my service work done with them. The stress that they caused me in one visit is horrible. They have lost me as a customer, I will never buy there again. I will never have my car service there again. This is my fourth BMW and I will take my business elsewhere. More
