Duplicitous Crooks Sold me a high mileage car for too much money which began to have problems the minute I drove off the lot. When I contacted them they evaded my calls and emails for a few days. When I finally spoke to Jerry Kerr on the phone he was condescending and abrasive. He tried to slither out of any responsibility or decent customer service by telling me that my mechanic of 10 years was a lying fraud and crook. I think he thought because I am a woman he could get away with acting like I knew nothing, while he dried to cover his own dealership's xxx. In the end I ended up sinking $1000 dollars into my less than a month new-to-me car on maintenance issues (Cracked serpentine belt, spark plugs, air filters, starter) that should have been taken care of by their so-called "superior master mechanics". I tried to give them a chance to rectify their mistakes but their treatment of me was insulting and degrading. I will never recommend CDA Honda to anyone. More

Special ordered 2017 Honda Civic My car buying experience was a 8 month process. After researching what car i wanted. I was looking for a very specific honda civic trim level, color, My car buying experience was a 8 month process. After researching what car i wanted. I was looking for a very specific honda civic trim level, color, andwith a specific set of features. I was also looking for a dealership that offered a warranty beyong the manufactuer's 3 year. I strarted searching at dealerships in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Utah and Wyoming. I looked online to find the dealerships that would offer the best initial price quote and then called and asked what their initial out the door price would be. I then started comparing the prices to the MSRP and Invoice prices During this process I only found 2 dealerships that offered a lifetime warranty on their cars. I then reached out to the various dealership sales department and driledl the Salesmen on the civics specs, features, and the terms of their warranty. In the end Coeur D'Alene Honda had the best out the door price and it also had the best warranty that applied Nationwide and not just to their dealership. . I worked with Chez and Jerry at CDA Honda. We negotiated a price on the car which did not feel like a wrestling match. (Compared to the other dealerships prices it was a steal). However because of the specifics of the car they didn't have one in stock. They looked around to fswap one from a nearby dealership, they found one that had everything we wanted except it was the wrong color of blue. Instead of trying to push the car. They went above and beyond and helped us to submit a Special Order for the exact car we wanted. We had to wait 9 weeks to pick up our car. It was great to get the exact car we wanted special ordered without the hassle, constant nagging, or expensive fees I encountered at other dealerships. More
Best car dealership I encountered in my eighty-five years. I bought my first Honda Accord from Mike Shewfelt in 2004. My now-deceased wife and I were impressed with his helpful input into our ultimate choic I bought my first Honda Accord from Mike Shewfelt in 2004. My now-deceased wife and I were impressed with his helpful input into our ultimate choice. Most of all, he was never "pushy." To my great delight, Mike sold me my Honda CR-V several weeks ago. Initially, I wanted another Accord. A friend of mine suggested a CR-V. I contacted Mike and stated my new goal. His professional advice was focused and convincing. Now, I have exactly what I wanted, at a price I could afford. I must also comment about Cd'A Honda's reputation as a model dealership. Being a chatty type, I talked with customers while waiting in the service department wing. Amazing! Not a word of complaint about quality and promptness of service. One gentlemen told me Cd'A Honda is unique among dealerships in the USA--still family owned; still the best of the best. Mike represents the dealership extremely well. Bob Launhardt More
