Purchase of two new tires. I made a service appointment on Monday, June 8th for Thursday June 11th to install two new tires. Was informed on June 8th that the tires were not in I made a service appointment on Monday, June 8th for Thursday June 11th to install two new tires. Was informed on June 8th that the tires were not in stock and would have to be ordered. I was assured that the tires would be in the service department by June 11th. I arrived for my 8:00 appointment on June 11th and was informed by the service associate at 8:40 that the tires were not in stock and they could be ordered, but would not be in until 11:00 that morning. I did not want to wait around given the current situation with Covid-19 precautions. My wife has a suppressed immune system and I did not want to linger in a public setting for a prolonged period. I asked for my car and asked the associate to call me when the tires arrived to reschedule my appointment. I did not receive a call on Thursday and had to follow up myself around 3:45 to ascertain whether the tires had arrived. I was informed that they had and made another appointment for Saturday, June 13th. I find it unacceptable that someone did not notify me prior to my appointment that the tires had not arrived. I had to make an unnecessary trip, which I was extremely unhappy about. More
