I was very disappointed. When my car broke down and needed repair at coastal I asked if I could get a loaner..”did u buy the car here”? Was the response, no I didn’t, so no l When my car broke down and needed repair at coastal I asked if I could get a loaner..”did u buy the car here”? Was the response, no I didn’t, so no loaner available. I currently own 3 VW, and am looking to turn one in for a new one. I will rethink buying it from Coastal now. Then I’m in the showroom, and out on the lit looking at new cars, not one salesman asked to help, if I had any questions.. Seriously if I were a man would they have gotten out of their chairs ? I was just overall really disappointed in Coastal this time. I come all the way up from the cape for service… I may rethink it More
I had a problem starting the car and it didn't happen when I was there at the shop. I tried the battery in the FOB And I still have the problem intermittently but not when I brought it in. Also my dipsti when I was there at the shop. I tried the battery in the FOB And I still have the problem intermittently but not when I brought it in. Also my dipstick is very hard to pull out, But it worked fairly well when I was there. He said it was supposed to be snug But it was a lot harder to pull than another cat was in the shop and I'm 66 years old I've never had one this hard to pull out In me at least a 100 cars that I have owned since I was 16 years old. And of course this also worked fairly well when I showed him. He was cooling it with his whole hand and then pushing down on the top of the engine to get it out, And I said why does it have a finger hole instead of a whole hand grip on the top of the dipstick, to which he had no answer When I showed him the other car in the shop could be easily pulled out with one finger he still tried to tell me it's normal. So I went home with no answers and no satisfaction. In the manual it asks us to Check the oil but when the engine is hot something swells up and makes it very difficult to pull the dipstick out without pulling the whole tube out which I've been charged twice by another dealer to replace And I think it's a defective Part.
