After visiting 6 VW dealerships to purchase a new 2012 VW, without question, I was treated with the most respect and professionalism here. My experience at Coastal VW was the best I have had at any dealership. I had service done on my daughters current vehicle and had such fantastic service with the mechanic and service desk I came back and any dealership. The sales rep was friendly and quite frank in terms of what he could and could not do as far as our trade-in was concerned. I had been searching the internet all over the eastern states from WV to the Atl what he could and could not do as far as our trade-in was concerned. I had been searching the internet all over the eastern states from WV to the Atlantic Ocean and from Massachusetts to Maryland for a very specific Jetta Sportswagen in terms of color and other options. He had it and his cash price for it was quite reasonable. Even with the complications of registering the vehicle in a stat other than Massachusetts, the vehicle was ready and waiting when we went to pick it up. The vehicle itself got better than the EPA estimated highway fuel mileage on the trip home at 65 mph with higher speeds at times. I'm certain it will do even better as it "loosens" up. It has less than 500 miles on the clock. Great car, great dealer experience. More

I have never imagined or thought it was possible the type of professional service I received as a  young women that I received at Coastal  Volkswagen in Hanover. Courtesy, professionalism, no high pressure sales tactics, it is about time quality dealerships become the norm. I was still skeptical when I first drove to Coastal Volkswagen in Hanover  but from the minute I was greeted, through the process of the sale and until the end, I could not believe how nice everybody was and how smooth everything went. From the get go I got this satisfying and comforting feeling,  and it got better as it went on.  This being a new dealership and me being a  young women I was anticipating them to be praying on my arrival, but I was wrong they truly treated me as  valued and important customer.  Much to my surprise they provided me a car fax and a Kelly bluebook value printout on my Dodge Neon, with out me even having to ask. I now understand that the purchase of a new car as a  women is not awful or degrading as they were in the past! The new car manager, Jay, played a big part in making this deal happen. He was kind and made me feel just as valued as anyone else, And I truly appreciate that! I will be loving my 2011 VW Jetta for years to come and when I am ready for a newer model I will be right back at Coastal Volkswagen in Hanover for Jay and Bens outstanding service and reinsurance.  More

DONT EVER GO HERE. Customer service is terrible. Before going in to the dealership to look for a new car I called. The person on the other end could not have been less interested and couldn't get me off th going in to the dealership to look for a new car I called. The person on the other end could not have been less interested and couldn't get me off the phone fast enough. I went in anyway hoping the service would be better in person. Boy was I wrong. I worked with a sales guy who knew absolutely nothing about volks wagens, test drove a car and was sent home to retrieve my current car to get appraised. When I returned I was told by the sales guy the manger couldn't be bothered to appraise my car or write up the numbers for the car i was looking at. Unless you enjoy wasting your time and talking to rude, arrogant, and unknowledgeable people go the extra distance another VW dealership. oh and ladies don't even bother setting foot here they will treat you like a joke.
