I have never have had a better car buying experience. Working with Terrence Sterbenz (sales consultant)and Ron Singer (finance manager) was great, they were very professional. I went into coastal thinking I had very little chance of getting a new car. My current lease was way over the miles and still had over a year left. I enjoy my 2013 Touareg TDI but most importantly you have a staff in Hanover that you should be most proud of. I have regular contact with Matt and Stan in service, Ron in the office and John / Sean and Ben in sales. All top notch as well as the folks behind the scenes that make the wheels turn from parts to bookkeeping to courtesy shuttle drivers. Please recognize them all for that. Coastal is about making a customer happy….bottom line. After a few weeks of research and number crunching my wife and I started our Labor Day weekend car search on Friday night. We went to a couple dealerships on the automile but it was dark and late and there were not many salespeople around to help us. We were blood in the water with no sharks. Saturday morning we got up and went on the search again. This time we stayed local to south shore. Our first stop was a mall of autos in Weymouth. Well we got our first glimpse of a terrible movie “car salesperson.” This person had all the bad jewelry, this person also stated that they had been driving the Murano we were going to test drive around for 2 weeks and were going to love it because it had navigation and it felt like luxury. Well we got in the car and wouldn't you know it, no navigation and the salesperson didn't know it did not have a standard key, but a keyless entry FOB that fit into an “ignition”. Now I am no rocket scientist but if I drove a car for 2 weeks I would certainly know about the ignition and that there was no navigation. I knew right there we were not going to buy from here. We moved our search to Coastal VW. When we got on the lot there was no pressure from the sales team. We looked and saw the CR-V we wanted to test drive. We went inside and were greeted by Terrance. We sat with T-Bone for a few minutes and then we were on our way. Terrance is just a normal guy. No cheesy sales talk, no bad jewelry, just a funny, polite, well-informed guy. We loved the car and purchased it. They did a great job cleaning it and transferring the registration so we could drive it home that day. Ron did a great job getting us finance and walking us through the paperwork. This place is awesome and I will buy every car from them. I have recommended them to all my friends and family and now I do the same to you. Go there and you will be happy. More

Found this dealership from Cars.com and they had the exact car in stock that I wanted. I was hesitant about going to the dealership because it was over an hour from me. I decided the price and the reviews were good enough to make the trip. I'm glad I did! I entered the dealership and was greeted by Terrence Sterbenz. I told him why I was there and he helped me right away. He brought the car I wanted to buy around for a test drive. He asked me something no other salesperson has ever asked me before, "Do you mainly drive in town or on the highway?" I thought this was incredibly thoughtful because he was going to tailor my test drive based on what roads I normally drive on. I answered "In town," and he had a perfect route in mind. During the test drive, I decided to quiz him on the car I wanted because after researching it for over a year, I pretty much knew everything about it. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that he was very knowledgeable and aced my quiz. After a great test drive I knew I wanted the car. He made everything very easy to understand and the process went smoothly. My main concern was buying a car out of state but he assured me he would take the time to drive the car to my town hall to finish the registration process. I thought this was very nice of him, considering he would be driving for a minimum of 3 hours that day. I was then brought to the office of the finance manager, Ron Singer, to finish up the paperwork. In my experience, this is the part I would normally dread of the whole car buying process. To my surprise, Ron was a delight to work with. He didn't try to up sell me or pressure me whatsoever. He was straight forward, and explained everything that I needed to know. I gave this dealership a 5 because of how easy it was to buy the car I wanted at the price I wanted. I would recommend this dealership to anyone who wants to buy a new or used car. More
