I went to Coastal Nissan with the idea of just "looking" and finalizing my choice of a vehicle by April vacation. I walked out a couple of hours later, the proud owner of a 2011 Nissan Rogue (which I love). Eben was very personable and friendly but not pushy. The sales center was extremely busy on this day and Eben was juggling two potential sales, yet at no time did I feel like he was rushing me to make a decision. When the time came to negotiate price, I felt like Eben did have my interest in mind and worked for me in getting the best price. The day that I came to pick up my car, Eben already had an inspection sticker on my car and took the time to explain how to use the different things in my car. Sean was the finance man that did all the number crunching. Although I was his last customer of a very long day, he took his time and explained all the options available to me. We were in the market for an new vehicle but could have waited a bit longer. We test drove the 2010 Murano after making sure it would fit our hockey equipment. Yes, it did! We meet up with Nate and gave us all relevant information and then some on the vehicle. It drove well and I loved it. Once the process was starting, it was the same as other dealerships - the haggling over payment and trade in. It went relatively smooth but I had to insist that I could get the payment down just by qualifying for a loan outside of Coastal. They quoted me at a rate that was double what I qualified for. It seemed like I had to make the payment work on my end for them to come down and agree. I know some people will state that they qualify for a lower interest rate than what is offered, but it took some convincing on my part for them to believe me. We purchased the car and then come to find out it took even longer to register the vehicle due to how it was previously registered. My issue was not how long it would take to register, but that we were never told how long it would take. I almost had to go in and resign paperwork for the bill of sale as I was now driving it without any registration. I was told that WE were TOLD that it would take a few extra days. This was not the case. It felt like they were just trying to sell me a car and buy to sell my trade in with in days. A twofer in the same week.... Well, it all got resolved and we are now all set. They did take care of my bumper paint job and that looks great. Not sure if I will get another Murano, as I have not purchased the same make - always buying different types of vehicles due to our needs, but I would go back to Coastal to discuss another purchase. Nate and Steve were great during this whole process. More

I had done research on several new cars from different makers and was settling on just buying the newer version of the car I had. But I saw a car I liked at Nissan and called to take a test drive. Joe Monk was super - professional, friendly, very informative and helpful, he thoroughly answered every question I had about the car and Nissan in general as a car maker. Joe really went "the extra distance" to make sure I got the exact vehicle I was looking for. Mike Shea's professional and no-pressure manner made even the process of settling on a good purchase price a very positive experience. My family will definitely be visiting Coastal Nissan when we are ready to get the next car. More
Horrible experience! I've been doing research for a new car and know what I want to look at and just need to test drive to make a final decision. We I arrived, Joe greeted me and told me to come to his ta car and know what I want to look at and just need to test drive to make a final decision. We I arrived, Joe greeted me and told me to come to his table, even though I was still walking around the show room looking at the cars. Then HE talked and finally I after asked said yeah lets go outside and look at a car. The cars were packed tightly together, not his fault, but he told me to slide in between the cars and to LOOK inside the window so I could see what the car looked like. Never once did he offer to move the car out so I could open the doors. I had to ask for him to pull the car out and I had to ask for a test drive. The car is key-less and to demonstrate the feature with locking and unlocking Joe did all the work. I NEVER once held the key. During the test drive, he was very bossy and would not shut up. He was only concerned with making a sale and that was very obvious. Although the car had a lot less features than other cars I've looked at on the sale scale, he kept trying to sell me on the fact why his car was better when clearly it wasn't. Joe also kept asking, "what is it going to take for me to get you to buy this car?" and "if you don't buy today, this deal will not be here tomorrow". I felt VERY bullied by Joe and extremely uncomfortable. I would NOT recommend Coastal Nissan based on Joe. Maybe they should get rid of him... More
I went to Coastal on a whim because of an ad. I ended up buying a 2011 Sentra. The building made a very nice presentation as I stepped in and I was warmly greeted. Jeff was a delight. He made made me fee buying a 2011 Sentra. The building made a very nice presentation as I stepped in and I was warmly greeted. Jeff was a delight. He made made me feel as though I was the only cusomter in the world. He gave me a lot of personal attention, was very knowledgeable and really listened to my needs. I never felt pressured. He went over and above with with his customer care. He even helped me clean out my trunk and load my things into the Sentra. I drove away happy and a very satisifed customer. Ron, in the business office was great, as well. He really had to work hard to make the numbers work. I feel that he went out of his way to help me. He really knew his business. Everything was done in a timely manner. I would definetly recommend Coastal to anyone. More
