Easiest car buying experience we’ve ever had! Friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive team who went above and beyond to ensure that we had a positive experience. Throughly explain all the features Friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive team who went above and beyond to ensure that we had a positive experience. Throughly explain all the features of the vehicle, which was a huge help. Even programmed our home address into the GPS for us before we even went took it home. Many thanks, especially to Sean, Lance, and Tommy for helping to make this all possible. I’ve never been happier with a car purchase :) More

I have bought 4 Nissans from Coastal. My car was under powertrain warranty and my engine went. I’ve completed all the proper maintenance including an oil change 18 days prior which reve My car was under powertrain warranty and my engine went. I’ve completed all the proper maintenance including an oil change 18 days prior which revealed no sludge issue after a 14 point check. I towed the car to Coastal after the oil and check engine light came on and I saw sludge in the oil cap. After 3 weeks of pretending to help me get it covered by the powertrain warranty, Coastal voided the warranty. I was not allowed to provide paper work to prove I maintained the car and the issue was with their engine. They blamed corporate for voiding it, corporate blamed them. Corporate said once the dealership voided it their was nothing they could do. Their service department charged me $600 to tell me what I already saw with sludge. George Sullivan (assistant service manager) gave me an estimate of $13,500 to replace the engine used or $15,000 for a new engine. He also said he was “flabbergasted” that Nissan voided the warranty, knowing full well Coastal submitted the paperwork to void it. Tim Root (service manager) said they “really valued me as a customer” and when I asked why their estimate was $7,000 more from a legitimate repair shop they had no answer. I guess they don’t really value me as a customer, otherwise they wouldn’t have price gouged me as well. Tim Root and George Sullivan from Coastal’s service department are dishonest and not worth your trust. Every single person from the dealership to corporate lied to me for 2 months now. I dealt with corporate after reporting them to the Better Business Buereau Autoline and was asked to submit maintence paper work on 7/21, which I did. I received a letter on 7/28 dated 7/15 saying my claim was denied. How was it denied before I submitted paper work? Dealing with Better Business Bureau Autoline even more now. Stay away…four cars no loyalty to their buyers. I am also expecting a dishonest rebuttal from Coastal in this review. Service issues are never their problems, they just blame the owners. Remember I bought 4 cars from this dealership. They’re rebuttal was exactly what I expected. Just to follow up to Coastal… Coastal Nissan I am extremely disappointed in your dealership and your response. In no way was I treated fairly by your dealership or Coastal. The car had consistent records of maintenance and oil changes. This includes an oil change 18 days before the engine light came on. I was never given an opportunity by Coastal or Nissan to provide records. Nissan claims you voided the warranty, you claim Nissan voided the warranty. Repairs and oil changes do not have to be done exclusively at your dealership. Either way you have lost a longtime customer who was treated unethically by Nissan and the dealership. I purchased 4 cars from Coastal and in the end it didn’t matter. You can also stop trying to justify how your dealership treated me as a longtime customer. Your estimate was an absolute slap in the face… $5,000-$7,000 more than reputable repairs shops. I had my car repaired for half of your estimate, which is the opposite of fair. Every single negative review you have received blamed the customer. Take responsibility for once for treating your customers poorly. Add Matt Kittredge to your list of dishonest workers at Coastal. Claimed to be advocating for me with Nissan. Took a long vacation and told me Nissan wouldn’t compensate since I didn’t get repairs at their dealership. Dealership wanted $15,000 for repairs, I spent $7,000 for repairs at a honest shop. He then gave $500 credit at Coastal so I could get ripped off again. This is the worst dealership, full of liars and the Nissan corporation is too. Avoid dealership and Nissan all together. More
