I had done quite a bit of research before going to Coastal Nissan. They honestly seemed like the only company not trying to 'jerk me around'. My experience in buying a vehicle for my daughter had to of been one of smoothist. I was meet by a salesman named Nate Billings with no pressure. We viewed his inventory of new and used vehicles. He seemed to of been very knowledgeable of all the vehicles. Still undecided I told Nate I needed to think about the investment and needed time. As I left the dealership again no pressure. He gave me his card and told me to call him if I had any questions or wanted to take a test drive with my daughter. I set up another appointment and we had a deal. His manager came over to introduce himself and we came up with a price we both aggreed to. The next day when I came in to pick the car up it was Nate's day off. He came in at the time we agreed to pick it up at. He went thru the entire vehicle with myself and my daughter. I would recomment anyone to buy a vehicle at Coastal Nissan and ask for Nate Billings. From the moment I walked into the dealership I was greated by Tommy Di Pesa and when I explained who I was dealing with he told me that pearson was gone for the night, but that he would be more than happy to show me the car and answer any questions I might have. Two hours later, I was walking out having leased a 2010 Altima 2.5S. With all this said, I give 5 Stars to Tommy Di Pesa and to all the other people involed in putting my deal together at Coastal Nissan. More
Glenn is fantastic. He is not pushy at all, and seems like an all-around nice guy. The only thing that held me back from rating this dealership a perfect "10" were that we waited a long time when discussing prices with the manager. I'm sure this is standard, but the process took about 4 hours even though we were clear from the beginning how much we were willing to pay. More
This is my second new vehicle purchase at Coastal Nissan - first for an Altima in 2006, and this past Saturday the 2010 Cube. A car purchase is extremely major and out of principle I want to buy from a dealer who I feel really works to earn my business and not just "gives me a great deal", because we know in fact that you'll end up paying nearly the same anywhere. This is why I ultimately chose Coastal Nissan twice. From start to finish, from initial lead to writing the check for the car - these guys are FIRST RATE. They pursued me for the sale in a way that made me feel that they sincerely wanted my business and never used any strong arm sales tactics. The unique thing that impressed me was various sales managers called me at different times - each sincere and professional. They never said "as you can see we're the best" - the approach was "we know there's a lot of competition in the market right now and we really want your business. Let us know what we can do." In person at the dealership, Eben was directed to show me the car, go with me for the test drive, etc. He was very professional - didn't overdo the nicey-nice, not patronizing, etc - very likeable in all ways, but still firm and doing his job to accomplish the sale. Lyndsay in the finance office was really personable and again did her job without being pushy. If I said I didn't want an additional option - no argument, on to the next item. I realize dealers count on these extras to make at least a decent profit on a sale. I was surprised at how small the mark-up % was for the dealers and I verified this from objective websites. We're all in this economy together too - I want to know they're making a fair profit, as odd as that may sound. Clearly this is a well managed dealership and after having dealt with many Boston area dealers I can say without question Coastal is the best of the best. Don't even consider any other Nissan dealer no matter what they promise you - just go straight to Coastal. I'll never by another Nissan anywhere else in New England! More

I found Coastal Nissan to be fair and competitive, but I was really buying a dealership, not a car because I figured I could get a reasonable price at any Nissan outlet. I will say that the Dealer Rater site is taken seriously by Coastal and that is a good thing for auto consumers. But, this also tells me that Coastal cares very much about its image and performance and that translates to great service and a feeling that every customer is important to them... and that sums up my experience so far with Coastal Nissan. Some of the things that impressed me about Coastal Nissan are: Showroom. The showroom was well organized and clean. It had been raining about 3 days straight when I first visited but everything was clean and shiny. Service and waiting area. The waiting area is clean. comfortable and well lit. They offer free wireless so customers can work or be on the web while they wait. But, the most impressive part of the waiting area is the showroom window into the service area so you can see what's going on. It's a well organized an clean working space. very impressive. The bonus for me is that they also offer some service at their site on 3A in Cohasset. Bottom line: I give this dealer an excellent rating and look forward to a long relationship with Coastal Nissan.
