I have been very satisfied with Coastal Hyundai from the first time I visited the dealership. From the time we walked on the lot and was able to view their inventory without being followed or hearing the s first time I visited the dealership. From the time we walked on the lot and was able to view their inventory without being followed or hearing the sales pitch til the time we left, thanks to the speedy service of paperwork. Our salesman (John Boot) was very helpful, friendly, knowledgeable and treated us with respect. And I am happy to say that when I had to take my vehicle for the first service appt. it did not take as long (1.5hr) as I heard it would comparing to other dealerships. When my daughter and I were there we saw and spoke to our Mr. Boot again whom was AGAIN very nice!! I only look forward to future dealings with Coastal Hyundai!! More
Service was fine. Oil change went well. They looked at other items that asked about, too. Now onto the purchase on May 25th, 2012. I'm still upset that I wasn't offered pricing based on me being a Chase other items that asked about, too. Now onto the purchase on May 25th, 2012. I'm still upset that I wasn't offered pricing based on me being a Chase Bank employee. I mentioned it to three different people. Gene, Rishi, and Brad but noone seemed to want to offer me the discount. Later, when i produced the paperwork for the discount program, Gene said that the dealership would be incentivized also but it was too late since I already signed the contract, but WHY???...when I mentioned to all three of them, prior to the sale that I work for Chase Bank, no one mentioned that the dealership participates in the Hyundai Circle employee discount program. Just another line of proof that dealerships and salesmen take pride screwing people out of every penny possible. That's $20 a month extra I now have to pay, which is $1,200 for the life of the loan. I think it's poor business that the discount cannot be applied retroactively. If you would like to save face and call me back in to renegotiate the contract, that would be much appreciated. More
