Great Experience A couple of weeks ago I visited Toyota of Melbourne with the intent of purchasing a Rav4 . Although the sales lady did her best to show me all the fea A couple of weeks ago I visited Toyota of Melbourne with the intent of purchasing a Rav4 . Although the sales lady did her best to show me all the features of the vehicle, when it came down to writing numbers on paper everything went wrong. The price she gave me was cancelled by her manager who jacked the price up over a thousand dollars more than her and I spoke about. It was this constant back and forth that made me realize that I would NEVER buy a vehicle at that dealership, and so I walked out never to return. My experience at Coastal Hyundai was totally pleasurable. I thought the dealership was closed last Sunday and I just wanted to "look" at some Sonata's and pricing. I was very surprised when Julian approached me . I told him I just wanted to look around and he did what I do in my sales work. Let the customer have their "space". I went back to him and asked a few questions. The south lot had more Sonatas that were not fully loaded and I told Julian to price my trade in while I went to the south lot to look at more cars. Went for a test drive and really liked the car and Julian was quite knowledgeable, helpful and kind. We discussed some numbers and I liked the final number which was arrived at by Julian making ONE short return trip to the sales manager, who at my request increased the trade in value of my car. That was it and I was happy to do the deal. Brad was also very helpful and patiently explained all the details of the paperwork with me. Love the car and all the great people I met at the dealership. Sorry Toyota, you lose. More
