Wonderful My experience at Coastal was awesome. I was very anxious at first, fearing the typical push salesmen that are stereotypical at car dealerships (which My experience at Coastal was awesome. I was very anxious at first, fearing the typical push salesmen that are stereotypical at car dealerships (which is why I brought backup in the form of my mom and brother). We did not experience this here though. We were asked what my needs were, and shown the cars that fit them. I test drove 3 different cars, getting to know what their features were and which ones felt right. The professionals I worked with, James Edobar and Candi Baxter, were truly a delight throughout the whole process and could answer any questions or concerns I had. My family have owned several Hyundai cars/SUV's in the past, and so it only felt natural to approach a Hyundai for my first new car. Not to my surprise, I am in love with my car, 2016 Elantra GT, and cannot wait to see what adventures are in my my future, and where she will take me :) More
Disrespected veteran I came in for an oil change today and asked about the Friday free car wash for veterans. I was told that I had to have an ID card to prove that I was I came in for an oil change today and asked about the Friday free car wash for veterans. I was told that I had to have an ID card to prove that I was a military member. I explained that I did not retire from the military or am not active duty but I am a veteran who served for seven years. I explained about the DD 214 to the Attendant. After my services were done the young man said they went ahead and did the car wash, but the manager would not do it again without an ID card. So I asked to speak to the manager. I explained to him that I served for seven years and have a DD 214 at home that I could email him to show that I am a veteran. He said I couldn't be a veteran if I didn't have an ID card and asked how I entered the base without one. I told him the definition of a veteran, but he didn't seem interested at all. I really think since you offer this great service to veterans that someone should educate your staff and managers, especially since we are a military community. I am on my fourth vehicle from you and have never had a problem, but this hurts my heart. I feel very unappreciated. What is a Veteran? Title 38 of the Code of Federal Regulations defines a veteran as “a person who served in the active military, naval, or air service and who was discharged or released under conditions other than dishonorable.” This definition explains that any individual that completed a service for any branch of armed forces classifies as a veteran as long as they were not dishonorably discharged. More

Terrible Waited 3 weeks for roof racks and I'm getting my car back a day late even though I specified we had to have it done no later than Wednesday July 6, It Waited 3 weeks for roof racks and I'm getting my car back a day late even though I specified we had to have it done no later than Wednesday July 6, It is now Thursday.hopefully I can pick it up today I'm worried about the finished product as I was told the service dept has never installed those before, that does not instill confidence in me . Second New Sonata This is the second new Sonata we purchased from Coastal, the first being our 2002 Sonata. It had over 180K miles on it and we traded it on on the 201 This is the second new Sonata we purchased from Coastal, the first being our 2002 Sonata. It had over 180K miles on it and we traded it on on the 2016 Sonata. We dealt with the Internet sales lead, John Lyons, and had a price worked out before we visited the dealership. John and his assistant Anthony took very good care of my wife an I. We had negotiated on a silver Sonata, but when we got there, it was sold, but they showed us a gray Sonata SE, which we liked more than the silver one. We were able to get our USAA car buying service price as well as military and loyalty discounts in addition to Hyundai incentives. It was a very pleasurable experience and we love the new car. More
