My name is Maria Hernandez and I went to Coastal Hyundai to look at what was out in the market. I had no intent on buying a car just yet. Rishi Maharaj came to both my step-dad Jose L Gonzalez and me. I tol to look at what was out in the market. I had no intent on buying a car just yet. Rishi Maharaj came to both my step-dad Jose L Gonzalez and me. I told him I was looking at possibly getting a used car for $10,000 or less if possible. We did look at some used cars. He suggested a newer car because it is better for the warranty and the quality of course is better. I am sure everyone has heard this before, but my credit is not too good. I have gone through a divorce and it is pretty much not the best. I've been working on my credit by getting secured loans, but it only helps so much. I Rishi ran my credit and of course it was not too good. He was giving me numbers of over $300/month. I know what I can afford. I did by the way do a test drived on a brand new 2013 Hyundai Accent. I loved it but did not want to show that too much (of course). When Rishi gave me those numbers I thanked him for his time but declined because I know my budget. For I am a single mother and get no child support. I was hoping for a car payment of $250 of the most. So Rishi offered me a 2012 Accent for $275 with my Sportage trade in. I told him I am interested but I'll have to think about it. Really I didn't feel pressured and I loved that. He gave me his card and told me to keep him in mind because he would love to do business with me. Again, Rishi was very professional. I did go to Boniface-Heirs after that. They played the game. They kept me and my step-dad there for hours and tried to get me to leave with either a Forte (with no power windows) for a little under #$300/month or a Mazda2 that was lime green that would have been $315/month worst case scenario. They of course wanted me to drive it home. I told them no. They offered a silver Mazda2. At this time though, my step-dad offered to co-sign for me. We waited several hours for them to say to drive it home and they will get back to me with the payments. I refused to take home a car that my luck would be the worst case scenario. I didn't realize at the time that they were keeping us there all day so we would just take the car and go home (that really made me mad when my aunt said something to me). We went to Kia Boniface-Heirs like around 2pm and left there after 6pm. They even had us put a deposit of $500 so they wouldn't sell the car. I was so tired we did do a deposit and were going to see them Tuesday since I had to work Monday night. We were tired and grumpy by that time. When we got home, Rishi called me probably after before 8pm. He was professional and said that he was just touching base to see if I gave the 2012 any thought. I was tired but I told him I was still thinking and appreciate the call back. He was off Sunday. I liked that he called to just say, "Hey don't forget about us, we would love to do business with you." I talked to my step-dad and said let's see what they will do with him as co-signer. I called Rishi Monday morning and he crushed some numbers w/Jose as a strong co-signer that really made me happy. He had me under $250/month but didn't know for sure until his credit was ran. I told my step-dad to meet me at Hyundai after work. They ran his credit. They looked at my car trade in. Rishi was giving me payments for a 2013 and I kept saying I just want what is cheaper. He said he knows but he was just comparing the figures. I realized that the 2012 Accent was only $1000 cheaper thatn the brand new 2013 Accent. But I still needed to do the cheapest possible. I said, "Listen bottom line, cheapest payment possible to me!" He said, "2012 Accent for $229-some odd change!" I talked to my step-dad privately. I was so happy I did not want to show it, I was ready to jump and scream. So Rishi came back, I said, "We will take teh 2012 with 400 miles on it for $230/month!" Rishi, calmly says, "That is great, but I just want to make one more final offer! My manager said we really want to get you in this brand new 2013 Hyundai Accent! You are getting the 2012 for $230 a month! How does this sound? You pay just $7 more a month for the 2013 Accent? Your payments will be $237 a month! Just $7 more a month!" I asked to talk again privately to my dad. By this time, I am wondering "Why?" but also I am trying to hold in my anxiety! My step-dad said "Boy they are pushing this brand new one on you! For $7 more a month, take it!" So Rishi comes back and I got my trade in of my Kia Sportage for $2000 and we put $2000 down and I got my BRAND NEW HYUNDAI ACCENT 2013! I never in a million years would have thought I was going to drive off with a brand new car. It really was NO PRESSURE! Oh and without my step-dad on the loan, my intereste would have been like 15% but with my step-dad on the loan, my interest is like 4.99%! I don't think I've ever had a rate that low in my life! Like I said, I went through a bad divorce and it ruined my credit that I am still working on. I am so thankful my step-dad Jose L. Gonzalez co-signed for me to help make this happen. I am very thankful to Rishi for not being pushy and for just helping me out so much. I LOVE MY CAR! I have been telling everybody to go to Rishi at Coastal Hyundai! I work at Space Coast Credit Union and see lots of people. Believe me, I've been telling my friends and family to go see Rishi at Coastal Hyundai! I just mailed my first payment today. I was actually excited to get my first payment. I LOVE MY HYUNDAI ACCENT! Rishi was so awesome! He went above and beyond. Like I said, I was not planning on buying a car. I was just testing the waters, so to say. I was seeing what my possibilities were. And Rishi gave me possibilites beyond my dreams! I have a CD player, Serious Radio and I have keyless entry! If I had stayed with Kia Boniface-Heirs, I would be getting a new car, but I would not have the car I wanted. I would not of had the payments I wanted and I would be STUCK with a car I really didn't care for. I am 4'10" which is short. This car is perfect for me! It is pettite and beautiful! I deserve this. I've worked hard to get this. And with my step-dad's help I got it! And with Rishi's help, I got the payments under what I was hoping for and a car that I love forever! Thank you so much to Rishi for making me so happy. Words really can't express my excitement and appreciation to Rishi and Coastal Hyundai! Thank you a million times over Rishi! He was so good. I know at my work we get Performance Appraisals and when a member says anthing good it helps out. Please give Rishi all "10's" for the best Car Salesman I've ever dealt with! I hope he gets whatever incentive or commission he deserves! I will be calling him to let him know I gave him the best rating that he deserves too! I know I typed a lot, but I just wanted to show what I went through and how Rishi just saved the day! More
