We purch **Buyer Beware** An unhappy call out to Coast to Coast in Fishers, IN including Salesman Jay B, Sales Manger Ty and Service Manager Tyrone. We purchased a Camaro Convertible in December of 2020. Internet purchase in good faith based upon information and answers to my questions from Jay B. He stated “beautiful car, needs nothing, everything works as it should”. Jay B also claimed his and coast to Coast reputations. Purchased the car over the phone as a gift for my wife. We live in Wisconsin which is a 5 ½ hr drive. We were misled on mechanical and overall condition of the vehicle. Upon driving the vehicle 5 ½ hours home, apparent safety and mechanical conditions were found. 1. Convertible top was inoperative due to the safety screen for the top operation had been destroyed and removed, electrical sensors were unplugged and broken wire connectors. 2. Broken spare tire cover in trunk 3. Front brakes pulsate badly, steering wheel shakes when brakes are applied. Rear brakes have a high pitch squeal. 4. Drivers window switch panel has electrical problems. 5. Power trunk switch is bad. 6. Passenger seat power control switch broken off. 7. Exhaust system bangs on bottom of car 8. Right rear brake light did not work 9. 4 out of 5 lug nuts on one rim completely destroyed, unable to remove without mechanical adaptation. 10. No special socket for lug nuts removal – car has after-market rims. And there’s more……. Contact was made immediately with Jay B (salesman) who then put me in contact with Ty (Sales Manager). Ty stated they need to correct these problems and make things right! We made an agreement where Ty would replace the needed parts with new ones to correct the problems. The agreement was Ty was to supply and ship the parts and I would repair the issues at no labor cost, since I have no further trust in their dealership. Ty even noted my cooperative conversations with him. Since then, after numerous texts and conversations with Ty and Service Manager Tyrone again I have been mislead on our agreement and lied to by both Ty and Tyrone in correcting this matter. A vehicle with these problems could not have been safety/service inspected by them. Sold off their lot in this condition and not in good faith! After paying a premium $26,000 price and vehicle still needs $$$ in repairs? Would you trust such a dealership?? More
