Another great service visit at Cloninger My recent trip was primarily for new front brakes, but various sounds coming from underneath the car when turning sharply, made me think my CV joints My recent trip was primarily for new front brakes, but various sounds coming from underneath the car when turning sharply, made me think my CV joints were about to go. The service tech did a full underneath check of the car and saw no problems. He did however offer a possible explanation for the loud popping sound I heard while turning that made sense. Amanda even took me back to see the underneath for myself while the car was up and pointed out the areas I was concerned about to see that there were no problems. Again, I left the dealership knowing my concerns were addressed. By the way, the front brakes are fine. I drive quite a bit for work and have a older 4-runner with over 200k miles, but the service staff treats my car like it were new and that is why Cloninger is my place for service. More

Rip off I came to have tire plugged, called before I came to make sure that is something you did and was told yes. Supposedly someone looked at the tire and I came to have tire plugged, called before I came to make sure that is something you did and was told yes. Supposedly someone looked at the tire and said that nail/screw was bent at a 45-90 degree angle and couldn't do. I would need to purchase a whole new tire for around $225.00 or $260.00, I don't remember exact price. Mind you I only had 17K miles on these tires. So I said I need to think about I'll call you back either way, so I left. I went to another place and what do you know....... they pulled nail out and plugged my tire for $21, and gave me the metal object that was in my tire. Also guess what...... the nail was straight no 45-90 degree angle bend in the nail, like I was told. I called Cloninger back and of course couldn't get any one to answer the phone, so I left a message about what happened. I never heard a word back until now when I received this email for a survey on my experience. So am I pleased with my experience at Cloninger Toyota......NO!!! Either someone wanted to take advantage because I was a woman, just wanted to rip someone off and make money for new tire, or technician doesn't know what they are doing or talking about, which doesn't give me any confidence for ANY WORK to be done at your facility. If you can't even handle a tire, I'm surely not going to let you handle anything else on my vehicle! I will say the lady that had to tell me all the information was very nice, so at least you have her. More
