Great place to purchase a new truck. They were very courteous when I arrive. This place is absolutely terrible. The perfect example of all talk and no action. I was ecstatic at first to buy my first truck here but due to their terrible service and unprofessionalism, I never got th all talk and no action. I was ecstatic at first to buy my first truck here but due to their terrible service and unprofessionalism, I never got the opportunity. When the truck I wanted was at the Salisbury location, they told me they would transfer it to this Hickory location. After calling to confirm the car was transferred before making an hour trip to this dealership, the salesman confirmed “yes it’s here, I even took it for a test drive myself.” However, halfway to the dealership, they called back saying that they made a mistake and got the wrong truck (mind- boggling how you can test drive a truck and not know it’s a whole different truck!) Since I was already halfway there, I still went to talk numbers about truck and the salesman said he would make up for it and have the truck driven to me for a test drive. During the deal for the car, the salesman and manager often went back on their bargain, even after agreeing at first (Where’s the trust if you say one thing and you immediately go back on it?). This was the second red flag, but I really liked this truck, so I was willing to still buy it. However, the last straw came the next day when they were supposed to bring the car to my house at 5pm. The salesmen texted me at 4pm saying they’d be a “little late due to bad weather” which is understandable. I texted back at 5:30pm asking the ETA. The salesman replied back “they’re on the way, they waited till the rain stopped. I’ll find out where they are.” After no follow-up, at 6:20pm, I had finally had it. I texted the salesman and asked one final time where the drivers were. He replied they were not able to leave because the paperwork was not done (which I believe is a sad excuse). If this was true, this not only means he lied to my face saying they were on the way, but also didn’t have any intention of the test driving happening if the paperwork wasn’t even done. At that point, he asked if they could just come the next day, but I just said not to worry about it and will be taking my business elsewhere. I didn’t get to see the truck in person once, so I’m slightly convinced they didn’t even have it in the first place. Moral of the story, don’t buy from this dealership. If anything, I’d invite these guys to carry my casket at my funeral so they could let me down one last time… More
I purchased a f150 from hickory ford dealership, it was nothing but a pain in the rear. When I finally took possession of the truck I was given 1 crappy fob that look like they drove over it, I complaine nothing but a pain in the rear. Well soon as my check cleared, Jason called me and said oh we found a fob by chance, yea right. So I waste my time to go get it, it also was crappy looking I think a dog chewed on this one. It was a 2019 truck with 20k miles what the xxxx happened in 1 year, sounds fishy. Getting a plate still hasn't happened, call him never returned my call, all about the sale that's all well next year we will get another ford but not from there!! More

Service is terrible Took my f150 in for diagnostic was told the exhaust manifold was cracked and was quoted 3500.00 to replace...the tech. Said 6 out of the 8 bolts would Took my f150 in for diagnostic was told the exhaust manifold was cracked and was quoted 3500.00 to replace...the tech. Said 6 out of the 8 bolts would break and he would need to pull motor to drill them out...quoted 20 hours labor..also said said the lean code from bank 1 was a result of the cracked exhaust on bank 2... not sure how that can be...tried to reach out to the general manager and was told both days he was in a meeting, left my number no call back sent him emails with my number no call back...another local ford dealer is fixing for 280 in parts and 400 labor and 109.00 per bolt IF they break...when you are not concerned with customer satisfaction ,I’m not concerned about ever doing business at this dealership again...and this is the second time ive had a problem here so gave them plenty of chances More

They charged me $96 DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT!! Took my 2004 Ford F150 to have a engine light checked to see what was wrong. They charged me $96 which I was fine with but the news I recieved was not good. They told me that the internal timing was off and that cylinders 1, 3 and 5 did not have enough pressure and 3 had none. They then begin to tell me I needed a new motor that it would cost more to fix it than a new motor. The quote for a new motor was $8300. Told them no thank you. Now here is the bad thing. I have a problem with believing dealerships because I know how the service department works. I took and got a second opinion needless to say I am very upset with these people for lying to me. Not only do I not need a new motor, but there is nothing wrong with the pressure on the cylinders, and it can be fixed for a third of what Cloniger wanted for a new motor. I will never visit this place again and will let everyone I know how crooked this place is. If you want to save money stay away from here. More

They promote the Fordpass Rewards all over the building and the minute I go to use mine the machine is down so all the salesman was worried about was how else would I be paying for my service. One more reason I will not be returning to that location. More
