This was our very first experience with Clinton Honda and our first Honda purchase. We considered them because of the positive reviews from other people we know that have dealt with them. We were not expecting to buy a new vehicle just yet but due to Ford recalling and offering us a buyout on our minivan, we decided to go with something more true and reliable and have heard great things about Hondas as well as Toyotas but liked the features Hondas had to offer more than Toyota. My husband's first visit to the dealership, was disappointing as he almost left after being there for 10 minutes and hadn't been approached yet but just when he was considering leaving, Charlie finished up with a customer and approached him. That was good for both my husband and Charlie. We had a very positive experience overall and the process went very smoothly. We felt Charlie was fair in his pricing and a great person to work with. He was dealing with other people besides us but we felt he was careful to make us feel we were just as important as the next customer. More
I previously leased a 2008 Accord with Steve Stosko which was a great experience and recently purchased a Certified Odyssey with him. As I was looking for a pre-owned vehicle it was a little more work to get the exact options on the car but Steve kept me informed as new inventory arrived that met my specs. He did inform me of other vehicles on the lot that were close to what I wanted but when he understood I was firm on my needs he understood and actively worked to get the right vehicle. Steve’s great service, attention to my needs, and desire to get the right vehicle clearly made me choose Clinton Honda again after looking at quite a few dealers. As an internet shopper who comes into the dealer ready to buy, I really appreciate his straightforward and honest approach to sales. Tony Genovese was also involved in the transaction was straightforward and offerred significantly more for my trade compared to other dealers. He provided a detailed listing of comparable cars for sale in a wide area which matched my research (upfront and honest) and we agreed on a price fairly quickly. Finally I met with Greg Yuskaitis(Finance Manager) who did a great job explaining the Hondacare coverage and although I went into the meeting expecting not to purchase any additional coverage, after hearing the details and Greg's pro rata reduced price I decided to go with the extended warranty. With the wealth of information available regarding prices people are paying for Hondacare, it was nice to see a fair price up front. Overall a great experience from start to finish. The fact I received more for my trade and the very competitive pricing on the vehicle resulted in a deal that couldn't be touched by any dealer in the area. More
I have been very disappointed with our experience at Clinton Honda. We got quotes from several dealers and their price was fantastic. But that is where the positive experience ended. The purchase process took way too long. The salesman was pushy to get positive ratings on the survey. We went back to have an after-market part installed and they had no record of our appointment or payment. We get the car home and they didn't even install it properly, so now we have to go back. I trade in my cars every few years and will not be going back to Clinton Honda. More

Its two weeks later and I just received a box of homemade chocolate chips cookies thanking me again for my business. That's the way to do business. More
I recently had a very good experience with Clinton Honda. I returned to Clinton 10 years after I purchased my first Honda - an Odyssey - from that dealership, and had a good experience. Paul (our salesman) and Glynn (the sales manager) were both straightforward and fair in their pricing, and were very pleasant to deal with. They stood by their word and never played any of the games that car purchasers have regrettably come to expect of dealers' sales staffs. John (the used car manager) worked with us on the trade-in value of our old Honda, and treated us fairly and professionally. Concededly, Greg (the finance manager) - despite being a very nice guy - is apparently compelled to suggest - at some length - a number of "add-ons" like vehicle security stickers, tire and wheel insurance, etc. when discussing financing. He accepted my rejection of most of those services without complaint or harassment, however, and worked with me on the cost of a HondaCare extended warranty. Having read the other, largely negative reviews of this dealer on this site, I can only hope that those experiences were aberrational, and I can, of course, only comment as to the folks I dealt with. My experience was obviously dramatically different. More

Obviously, the two dissatisfied customers did not have Keith Kraycirik as their salesman. I am from SC, had only been in NJ two months when I went to purchase my vehicle from Clinton Honda. I had gone to two other dealers and was treated horribly. Then I met Keith. He took care of me from the 1st second. I even got a better deal than I anticipated. And talk about service after the sale, anything I need, I call him and he gets right on it. I am a person that trades a car every two years and I have had about 18 cars, including my BMW that Keith made sure was delivered back to BMW when I purchased my vehicle, and this has by far been the best experience I have had buying a car! I would highly recommend them to anyone. More

It does not matter if you leave a deposit they do not honor the original quoted price. It also does not matter that the documents that THEY write up and give you are not legitimate. Poor communication between departments. In my case they screwed up my loan, Finance flat out said that they made mistake and apologized for screwing up but wanted me to accept their shortcomings and pay approx. $50 more dollars a month. Then out of the blue somewhere thought that I was putting money down which was never discussed in the original quote! I was told all of this all on the afternoon I was supposed to be picking up the vehicle. After I got so upset, I was told that they would go back and see what they could do and I would be contacted back the next morning and never received a response and after this whole ordeal I asked for my deposit back and will take my business elsewhere. I WILL NEVER GO BACK OR REFER THEM TO ANYONE I KNOW WHO IS BUYING A CAR. More

Also, for the very first time, we have seen a salesman trying to sell a cheaper car when we have expressed clear interest in a higher trim model. Not sure if there was a profiling involved or not. He behaved as if he was doing us a favor and we were troubling him by trying to buy a car from the dealer. Test-ride was one of the shortest one I had exprienced. Overall, it was a terribly bad experience. More
