My car was totaled during Hurricane Sandy on Long Island, New York and for the last two weeks I have been searching to lease a new car. Only those who have been looking for a car through dealerships on Long New York and for the last two weeks I have been searching to lease a new car. Only those who have been looking for a car through dealerships on Long Island over the last several weeks can understand the utter frustration with these dealerships, in that they are trying to squeeze every penny out of you when you are most in need. You experience a disaster and they see opportunity and dollar signs. The experience was so aggravating that I almost wanted to throw my TV out of the window every time a commercial aired for the "deals" on new cars for Sandy victims, which was literally every other minute. I visited many different dealerships, a couple of which were Honda dealerships, spent hours in the them while my boyfriend, his brother, and I tried reasoning with the salesmen......... unsuccessfully. Because we saw so many different cars I knew the ones that I liked, among which was the new 2013 Honda Accord. Fed up with local dealerships and their malarkey, my brother in law was able to get in touch with Clinton Honda in New Jersey, which he heard of through a friend, where we were offered the best lease price compared to every local dealership we have visited. After a few phone calls and a simple online application submission, I had my new 2013 Honda Accord, delivered to me all the way from New Jersey, within a week! I know that this is hard to believe...... I still can't believe it myself. Not only did Clinton Honda name the best price, but they also personally delivered the cars (we leased 3 of them). Additionally, the salesman, Nelson, went over all the features in the car, answered all of my questions (which I had a lot of), had all of the paperwork ready and explained it in detail. The service provided by Clinton Honda was nothing short of top notch. I honestly could not ask for anything more. These gentlemen provided superb service and I highly recommend them. More

He was compassionate to my situation; being a hurricane sandy victim he assured me that he would do anything and everything to ensure that i was comfortable not only with my payments, he took the time to go back to the drawing board on several occasions to ensure that my upmost satisfaction was a top priority; how many people in any line of work do that?!? It was such a pleasure to deal with Mr. Killian that in a way im sad to wait another 3 years to lease another car from him. I would recommend anyone to Clinton Honda and especially to Mr. John Killian, a truly genuine person that loves what he does and takes pride in his profession. My wife and my brothers girlfriend also leased cars from Mr. Killian and are also eternally grateful to him as well as his two associates Mr. Nelson Neria, and Mr. Bill Butler. They took the time to go over every piece of paper work and made sure i knew the language and terms of my deal as with my wifes and brothers girlfriend before we even put ink to any piece of paper. I can not begin to tell you what a positive experience it was to deal with these three gentlemen.. they will literally give you the shirts off their backs and treat you as if they have known you for years. I am proud to say that i feel that i have a relationship with these gentlemen that will not only have me as a returning customer but my wife, my brothers girlfriend , my mother and friends and family for years to come. I urge anyone needing a car to call Mr. Killian and within the first five minutes of talking to him, i have no doubt that you will feel at ease with making a purchase as i was. Mike was so great to work with - he found my daughter the perfect car immediately, and was very quick to get us the paperwork and everything we needed. His expertise was impressive, but what made the difference was that because we were having a hard time figuring out how to actually pick up the car, he offered to bring it to her, and did so, and spent a fair amount of time showing her all aspects of how to use the navigation and phone system, and show her what she needed to know. This meant so much to me. I would definitely use Mike again, and give his name to anyone who was looking to buy a car. More

Charlie Bippart was our salesman and it was a real pleasure talking and closing a deal with him. There was no pressure or stress on either my wife or I. That's the way it should be. Most people hate to deal with car salesman but with Charlie it was not that way at all. Andrew (Andy) was a new employee there at Clinton Honda but he had all the expertise necessary to complete our transation to financial completion. He was also very pleasant to talk too. Judy did a terrific job, along with Andy, on convincing us to have Xzilon applied to the cars finish. I'm sure it will perform as advertised. We bought a 2013 Accord from Clinton Honda, and Janet Contrino was our sales person. The reason for the lower rating on Customer Service, and the ultimately the less than excellent rating is this. Janet showed us basically how to synchronize our phone with the car, but that was about it. In reading the manual, there are other things I will have to do such as reset the TPM every time I add a pound of air to the tires. I guess I'll have to figure how to do that on my own. Also, we never opened the hood, and according to the manual, to check the transmission fluid level, you bring the car to the dealer. Huh? Had I known, before leaving the dealer, I would have had a technician to show me things like that, as I do all the maintenance on my cars. After showing us the phone setting, we were brought in to wait on Judy, the business manager. We waited for more than 45 minutes. About 5 minutes into the wait, Janet had another customer to attend to, so were were asked to wait in the lounge area. After about 30 minutes, Judy came out and said it would be a little while longer. She said she had worked the night before until 10, and we would have to be patient. At this point, we were losing our patience, and were almost ready to tell Janet to bring back our trade in and we would go elsewhere (there are at least 2 other Honda dealers within a 15 minute drive from Clinton). Finally, Judy emerged and brought us back to her office, where she spent 15 minutes trying to sell us various warrantees which we made clear we didn't want. More
