I purchased a new 2008 Honda Civic from Clinton Honda. I took it to the dealer for all required service. Their dealership is clean and efficient and the pricing was inline. So, I thought about getting a vehicle I could sit up higher in than the Civic; gave me more storage room; had more comfort features than the Civic. I walked in and met Steve Stosko for the first time. I was focused on the CR-V. I started with the lowest end model. Steve gave me the test drive. I liked the car but I was also looking at a Ford Escape and Subaru Forester. All vehicles had nice write ups from the Media ''experts' but the test drives lead me back to the Honda. I asked for a detailed pricing for the base CR-V and Steve complied. I decided to see what the cost would be for the mid range CR-V and Steve complied. Finally, I though, what the heck, let's just see what the top version would be without navigation, entertainment etc. when I got Steve's number I asked for the cost of some basic add-ons (window visor; mud guards; body side molding). Steve gave me that number. Then I asked what they would give me on a trade. I may have gotten a bit more by selling it myself but I was not willing to go through that hassle and Clinton Honda gave me a fair number and they should make some money on it too. You have to know when to give and take. So, there I was faced with three options and the trade in value. Since I skimped in the Civic and I tend to keep my vehicles or a long time, I decided to treat myself and I purchased the CR-V EX-L. The pice was right and I know their service department is good. Of course they also offered some other options but I figured I had worked the deal long enough I did not want to buy any extras over what I purchased. I did a lot of research on Edmunds, Kelly Blue Book, NADA, Internet forums etc. I took my time. Steve was very patient and prompt to answer any questions I had. I gave them the check for the car as I did not need Honda Finance although they had approved me. Steve gave me the walk through at delivery. I try not to get emotionally involved in buying items but I must admit I am happy I did not take the base model. Steve has been with Clinton Honda for many years, so if you go there, try and link up with him. Very nice young man. I got the price and they did not over pressure me. They certain ally want the deal but they get there in a way a lot better than other dealerships I have dearth with over the past several decades. If Honda comes out with a diesel CR-V, who knows, I may be back sooner! :-) More

Great experience!!! We just purchased our 4th car from Charlie Bippart, he is a wonderful salesperson to work with. Charlie goes above and beyond to help out his customers. My husband and I are very busy and Charlie understands that. He does as much as he can to work with me over the phone and then we come in and finalize things and get the paperwork process moving along. I never have felt pressured or walked away from a deal with Charlie feeling as thought I had been taken in any way. The experience we have always had with Charlie is a pleasant one. He is a really nice guy to work with and really seems to have a genuine interest in making everyone comfortable and happy with their sale. We have bought a lot of cars and we keep coming back to Honda because since we started with them a few years ago we have never had an issue. We have found all of the staff pleasant to deal with. Patrick worked on the finance side of it, he was very nice and walked us through everything thoroughly and quickly to get us home to our family. Charlie always follows up with us and gets the job done start to finish. Can't say enough good things about Clinton Honda, very satisfied customer!!! More
