Happy with the outcome although we had to pay 25% out of pocket because the recall had expired but still one happy customer! My car looks brand new. Thanks to the staff! More

Getting over "the blues" My husband and I live in Ohio and traveled East recently to visit his parents who had just suffered the loss of their home in a recent fire. My mother-in-law was in and out of the hospital for unrelated reasons, and "blue" is how we felt. Speaking of "blue", we passed Clinton Honda and decided to see if they could provide the "blue" 16 Pilot EXL with Nav to cheer us up. We didn't have much hope because back in Ohio, that exact vehicle was hard to locate. This was confirmed by a Honda dealer in PA, where we also stopped on the way to Jersey. But as it turned out, a super friendly, genuinely kind person named Feliks greeted us at the door of Clinton Honda. I just knew instantly that we had made a friend. It was true, he didn't have our vehicle on the lot either, but he invited us in anyway for a diet coke and we sat down and talked for a really long time. We didn't even talk about cars, actually. We talked about his love of the Rangers (we are born and raised in Jersey and are Devils fans) but he was too nice for us to hold that against him. Together with another kind salesperson named Perry, we talked about the house fire my in-laws just sustained. I started to cry right in front of them when I told them how much I missed my family back in Jersey. We talked about the distance between Ohio and Jersey etc., and my Mother-in-law's recent hospitalizations. Feliks and Perry were so kind to her too. Greatest way to earn points with me is to be kind to that special lady, not that they were trying to earn any points. What stood out in my mind was that we weren't even talking about cars. We were just enjoying time spent with our new friends. People who we hadn't known long but who were interested in our situation and were showing us their true concern. So, it felt appropriate, after explaining to Feliks how "blue" was what my husband and I had been feeling during the start of this summer, Feliks got on his computer and found "blue" for us. A blue EXL with Nav. Apparently, these are harder to find with NAV but unlike the salespeople we dealt with in OH and PA, Feliks didn't try to talk my husband into simply using his cell phone instead of NAV. Instead, he said our Pilot was due to come in within two weeks. He showed us the VIN on the computer in case we didn't believe him, but of course, we had zero reason not to believe this genuine person. Within the week the car arrived, and having had returned to OH by then, we made another trip out to Jersey. (Great excuse to see my family again, as well as our new friends at Clinton Honda). We picked it up three days ago, and we are so happy with it. Driving back to OH, I texted Feliks three times with questions about how to program stuff. He didn't mind and he answered all my texts immediately. That's the reason he gave me his personal cell number, and he asked me to promise to drive safely and to keep in touch. It was sad when we pulled away, as once again we were leaving our family back in Jersey, but this time we were leaving our new friends too. I can't say I've ever had such an experience with salespeople. Were they salespeople? I guess they were! But to me they were just people who will always truly care about me and my family. More

I was very specific in my communication with Bill with what I wanted to do in terms of the purchase, my trade, and even time in the dealership. Bill replied very promptly and it was clear that he understood what I wanted. He introduced me to Bill Butler who showed me the cars I wanted to look at and worked out the specifics of the deal. My experience with both of these men was very good. They listened to what I wanted and worked with me to make a deal. There was no misinformation, no attempts at deception, and there was no attempt to sell me something that I didn’t want. Judy helped out with the finance specifics and was also very helpful. Overall, everyone was polite, professional, and pleasant to work with. Yesterday, they earned a lifetime customer, and I will be recommending this dealership to my friends. More
