service department nightmare got a good deal on a new 2020 coachmen clipper express, part of their deal was setup my car to tow it, 1200.00 ripoff, Beth in service put me off almo got a good deal on a new 2020 coachmen clipper express, part of their deal was setup my car to tow it, 1200.00 ripoff, Beth in service put me off almost 2 weeks to do it on a Saturday, I expressly asked if they ordered the right parts for a Subaru to hookup when I talked to her 10 days prior,I get there on Saturdays appointment before 8, she tells me after almost 2 hours they didn't have any of the parts, no hitch, controller, harness nothing, but should be there at 10 am, I was there well before 8, wife and I listened to her run her mouth at the parts guy screaming to find these parts in town, says o xxxx when she seen us there listening, tells us parts were not ordered sales manager gave us an extra 50.00 gift card for our trouble, 5 hours plus waiting on a 2 hour promise, I drive out with my camper, we were charged an 800.00 amount for the pdi of our brand new trailer, and I take it to the lake, for memorial weekend, guess what, it has an external barbeque but no gas line with the couplers, I call her, she gives me the speech it could be 6 weeks to get one, (they run into this all the time) I EXPLAINED SHE COULD GET ONE FROM ANOTHER TRAILER OR WHATEVER, because her tech told me the bbq was all there, or I would call the sales manager, she called back and told me to come pick it up, SO, buy a trailer, RUN dont walk away from the service department, take nobodys word for NOTHING ,shes rude and obnoxious to people she works with and has nothing but excuses " they've sold so many units and promising deliverys we cant keep up with" in my opinion they need a decent service manager, may 2019, BRAND NEW 2020 COACHMEN CLIPPER EXPRESS, I feel I was ripped off for the 2,000.00 im happy with the camper purchase, but totally soured me with the service I got before I could even use it, I ordered a dometic porta potti from the parts dept. they are ok to deal with, ive owned 6 rvs in my life and currently have a motorhome, thought it would be cool to try a little trailer, this was at click it rv on Newport highway, Bruce More
