I was about 7 miles from Larry Hill Ford on my way back to Knoxville from Chattanooga yesterday on a business trip when my 04 Focus overheated. He didn't waste our time or his by showing us vehicles that didn't match our requirements. He was extremely knowledgeable about the vehicles. If we asked a question about something he wasn't sure of, he would call over someone that did know the answer. Anyway, when it was time to but another vehicle, I new I would find and deal with Larry Simcox. I found my vehicle on-line, contacted Larry Simcox, and went to the dealership. We went to the dealership on a Saturday evening to just look at the ford focus. Our credit was less than perfect, we had no trade in, no down payment and thought that we would be looking to buy in about look at the ford focus. When David Babbitt, our salesman, suggested we go ahead and do some paperwork and just see at least what our goal would be to get into a car in the near future. My husband and I agreed. We needed to know at least were we stood. After signing papers, crunching numbers, and nerves getting the best of us we were shocked when Mr. Babbitt extended his hand and said congratulations you just bought a car. It felt wonderful we needed a new car so bad. I was even more shocked when he said you guys are driving it home tonight. They stayed late finished all the paperwork and we did drive our 2011 Ford Focus home. We got a great deal better than we ever thought we could in our situation and it feels great knowing that we now have a dependable vehicle to drive. Everyone at Larry Hill Ford that we had to deal with made us feel comfortable and like we mattered. I never had from any car dealership ever before. We even received a handwritten thank you note from Mr. Babbitt the following week. That was nice again made us feel like we mattered. We will buy from them again hopefully not for awhile though.
