On 10/5/24 we went to Cleo Bay Honda in Killeen to try and purchase my daughter a vehicle. While there I asked for a total drive out on a 2025 Honda HRV and they showed me a paper with $40,364.05 plus we and purchase my daughter a vehicle. While there I asked for a total drive out on a 2025 Honda HRV and they showed me a paper with $40,364.05 plus we needed to put $5000 down (which would make the new total $35,364.05. We then went to navy Federal and got approved and Navy Federal cut us a check for $35,264.05 (which was my understanding of what I owed Cleo Bay plus the $5000 down. We went into the finance office and the finance manager was more concerned about trying to sell us a warranty than going over any dealership paperwork. He then asked for the check, looked at the check and let us go (95% of our conversation with the finance manager was him trying to sell a warranty). Not once did he ever go over the dealership sales paperwork with us and we left the dealership with the new vehicle. On the same date about 2:10 pm, my saleswoman called stating that we still owed them $5000 ( the actual down payment was $10,000 (but they never told us that initially). I explained that the finance manager never went over the paperwork and that he was more concerned about selling a warranty, looked at the down payment check and let us go (like everything was ok). The higher ups are not concerned about making this right and only want their money, not one time since Saturday have I received a phone call from any manager at Cleo Bay apologizing for their miscommunication, fail to go over the buyers order (dealership sales paperwork or offer to make this right. If I were you I would not purchase from this dealership due to poor communication and their inability to apologize for their mistake. If I were you, I would go to Greg may Honda in Waco (I've heard great things about their customer service. Avoid Cleo Bay at all costs and as of 10/8/24 they have yet to try and make things right Horrible communication with buyers, don’t put the right lien holder on the paperwork and now we have to pay for the title transfer. More

Lance was very courteous and professional but he was the 2nd advisor I spoke with. The first advisor I spoke with never did anything to help with writing the service ticket. After about 30 minutes of wait 2nd advisor I spoke with. The first advisor I spoke with never did anything to help with writing the service ticket. After about 30 minutes of waiting outside I went back in and stood at his desk never to be acknowledged until I asked if he was going to write up a ticket. He then said Lance was working on it. Lance said he didn't know anything about it and said he was never told anything about writing it up. Again Lance was great to work with is why only 4 stars. More
