Bought a new Kia at this dealership, merely because they were the only dealer in our area who had a new small sedan (Forte) in stock. I bought the car in June 2022 and have had regular oil changes at the same dealership, which have, in 5 months gone up from $69 to $105. when I asked about this I got a vague, defensive answer. After I posted the same question online, Cooley reached out and asked that I reach out so they could "rectify the situation." It's been over three weeks....NOTHING. Seeing the other Cooley Kia reviews, I am not surprised. I am all for a company making an honest buck, but this dealership is clearly only about the money. When I trade in this car I will never buy a Kia/Hyundai again. Poorly built vehicles with the worst factory warranty (don't let their so-called warranty fool you. Look up Kia/Hyundai Engine Failure on Facebook before buying any of these cars). Buyer beware. Kia's are poorly made, and this dealership manages to make the whole experience yet worse. More

I dropped my vehicle off at Clay Cooley February 28, 2023 and they have has my vehicle going on 7 weeks. I'm now in the month of April without a loaner car or a true status on where they are with fixing my and they have has my vehicle going on 7 weeks. I've spoken to several managers including Al Hipolito, who is the rudest person I have encountered throughout this process. I have spent hundreds of dollars on Ubers without any type of accommodations at all from Clay Cooley Kia. The only person who seemed to give me any hope was Dawson Williams who told me he could have me in a loaner tomorrow. After speaking to Dawnson and him relaying to me that he had to get this cleared with his manager Al, I believed Clay Cooley was on the right path to making me a happy customer. Several minutes later Al told me there was nothing he could do and for me to sit back and wait while he gathered more data. Please keep in mind my vehicle has only 60,000 miles currently and my motor has gone out. Thankfully I have a 100,000 mile warranty that protects my motor. I keep impeccable service records that I have provided to Clay Cooley Kia. My warranty has been approved even though the 1st time they submitted the information they did it under the incorrect name. I've requested on several occasions for consistent follow up on the status in which I'm only told “these things take time. “ Every time I'm the one who has to reach out and they have yet to even start working on my vehicle. I'm in the same place I started 7 weeks ago. This is the most horrible experience that I have ever had with a car dealership. I'm writing this review as a buyer beware of Clay Cooley Kia. I don't want anyone else to experience the type of treatment I'm experiencing from this car dealership. I'm not sure if this is an isolated incident to Clay Cooley Kia Irving or Kia as a whole. Aweful dealership. Bought a K5 a month ago and am already trying to get out of it because this dealership lied to me. I received the loan information from the bank and the term was longer than I had agreed to. I texted him and he said basically is was SOL because I signed. The whole Freeship washed there hands of the situation. I hated the experience so much that I am just going to trade out of the car. AVOID THIS LYING DEALERSHIP AT ALL COSTS!!! More

Me and my fiancé were already pre approved through our bank for a loan and knew exactly what our monthly payments were going to be. He kept trying to sell us on "Ad Ons" we constantly reassured we didnt need or want, which you would think are optional for the customers but that wasn't the case here. He even went as far to say that the dealership will not sell the car without the Ad Ons. The non-optional Ad Ons ended up being the deal breaker in this case. I also work in sales and understand it can frustrating loosing a sale but you shouldn't take it personally. Honestly I think he just showed his true colors and I WILL NEVER BUY FROM OR RECOMMEND THIS DEALERSHIP TO ANYONE! More

I would give ZERO stars but have to give one to write a review. Total clown show. I called on a car, confirmed price on phone and was told the car was available. (I found it odd that during the test drive he did not try to sell me the car, but since its a sellers market figured he thought he didn't need to). After taking some paperwork, he came back to tell me the car was sold. WHAT?? Then said not to worry the exact same car would be back in inventory in a week and then tagged on another 12K to the "final price" listed on the website. Unbelievable...total sham and waste of time. He knew the car was sold before he told us to come down to the dealership....then thought he would easily upsell another car. Nope....not today SATIN! Very shady and unprofessional group. Posting false prices on the internet, stating the vehicle was available and letting us test drive & sit down to deal on it, only to sell it out from under us. So very dishonest....buyer BEWARE. More
