I regret buying my car from Clay Cooley and Mr. Joseph Fernandez!! I would give a 5-star rating on the 2022 Telluride but NOT the Clay Cooley Kia Dealer. I would choose any dealer but them. I was the easi Fernandez!! I would give a 5-star rating on the 2022 Telluride but NOT the Clay Cooley Kia Dealer. I would choose any dealer but them. I was the easiest sale! I paid cash for a 2022 SX, Prestige Telluride, no trade in, no financing required. What ruined my experience was the post sales treatment. They did not prep the car, give me a mindful tutorial or acted like this was a sale at all. All they wanted to do was close for the night. I tried to by $5,350 of accessories (Trailer hitch, lighting kit andlighted door sills and could not get an answer on cost, installation or lead time. I asked to talk to the general manager (Mr. Joseph Fernandez) and he could not even call me back, after 3 messages. I absolutly hated the treatment and experience from Glay Cooley Kia's sales management team. I wish I bought it else where. They deserve all the low ratings they get and I am sure, with out managment and culture change this will continue. SHAME on Mr. Fernandez and his mindless team of 9 to 5 ers. I ended up buying all the parts I needed and had them installed with certifyed installers who cared about my business. Read through these reviews and tell me if your not mistifyed why they are still in business. I will NEVER do business with Clay Cooley or their managment team in the future! More

Kevin Sanchez is dishonest and a liar. we had a verbal deal on a used care and i gave a credit card for deposit. Despite our agreement they sold the car 2 days later. i had asked for paperwork to sign d deal on a used care and i gave a credit card for deposit. Despite our agreement they sold the car 2 days later. i had asked for paperwork to sign daily and no response until the day after it was sold. i would never recommend this dealership or Kevin sanchez to anyone, even my enemies. This place cares about you when they are making a sale. The service department is a joke, they don't answer the phone or return calls. I have been trying to get my car serviced due to a recall. I guess if The service department is a joke, they don't answer the phone or return calls. I have been trying to get my car serviced due to a recall. I guess if my car catches fire and someone gets injured and we sue Clay Cooley for not doing their job, perhaps then they will do their job. Wish I could give no stars. More
Just had a terrible experience with this dealership. I'm in the market for a specific vehicle and they had a few on their lot. I'm out of state and willing to pay for delivery, so I've expanded my search ar in the market for a specific vehicle and they had a few on their lot. I'm out of state and willing to pay for delivery, so I've expanded my search area. I've also got my own financing so I'm essentially paying cash up front. They came up in my search with what appeared to be reasonably priced vehicles, so I went ahead with contacting them and beginning negotiations. I worked with the Internet Sales manager (who was polite enough) and we settled on a price and got a quote for delivery, over a period of a few hours. Pretty usual car buying experience. Suddenly I receive a message asking if they can call. I'm on the road at the moment but accept the call. The overall sales manager is on the other end and he demands to know when I can come in to the dealership. I had already explained to the other salesperson that I'm out of state and will not be able to come in, hence arranging shipping costs. The sales manager continues to demand that I have to come in before I can buy a vehicle, because of some vague "fraud" reasons. So the deal falls through because apparently there's no other way to verify my identity aside from me travelling hundreds of miles to complete a purchase?? All while essentially being called a fraudster by a pretty rude sales manager. Real bad look, Kia. Either way, if you're looking at this place for buying I car I advise you watch out for some really sketchy behavior and are probably better off buying a vehicle from a better run business. These people don't deserve your time or money. I'd give them zero stars if possible, worst treatment from a dealership I've ever experienced. More
By far the absolute worst experience I’ve ever had trying to test drive and buy a car. The salesperson was extremely pushy. Did not listen to any of my wants or needs in the car that I wanted. The salesperso to test drive and buy a car. The salesperson was extremely pushy. Did not listen to any of my wants or needs in the car that I wanted. The salesperson treated me as if I hadn’t done my research and didn’t know what I was talking about. I do not recommend Clay Cooley to anyone. Not to mention the mark-ups, but then they try to cover it up with their family coverage. More
Unfortunately, I went to Clay Cooley Kia in Irving (supposedly a family owned dealership that cares about its customers, LOL) and wasted my time yesterday evening. I know better than to go to a dealer (supposedly a family owned dealership that cares about its customers, LOL) and wasted my time yesterday evening. I know better than to go to a dealer but I did it anyway because I spoke with sales manager prior to my arrival and thought we worked out a deal. Any time a trade is involved, it gets messy. Every dealer that I have ever gone to in NM and TX has made the trade in process painful. Always low balling my property and laughing when I choke on the very low offer for trade, Clay Cooley Kia's offer was offensive. Same old story...1. Make the customer wait for a sales person even though I asked for the sales manager. (front desk girl didn't even know the sales manager's name (Donny). 2. Pawn customer off on a regular sales person (not a good sales person by the way) 3. Sales person starts with, "what is your target payment?", I already said I have pre-approved financing and know what my payment will be. I will save this part for the finance team. 3. Bring back the magic paper with a proposed deal after waiting another 10 minutes. There are very few customers left in the lobby, at this point. No purpose in making the customer wait, other than pressuring them to get the deal done quickly. 4. Proposed deal has a starting price higher than the advertised price (RED Flag).5. Trade is half of what I ask for. The price I asked for is fair. I didn't haggle on the price of the car I wanted to buy so their markup remains the same. They actually laughed and said out loud, "this guy thinks his vehicle is worth that". I had to demand my keys back so I could leave as quickly as possible. I can't believe I wasted a trip across DFW to deal with this garbage. More
If you need your Kia serviced at Clay Cooley Kia I would highly rethink letting them service your car. When you have a warranty issue with your automobile it should be a no brainer to offer the customer a highly rethink letting them service your car. When you have a warranty issue with your automobile it should be a no brainer to offer the customer a loaner car. In fact when you have to request for a car they already are showing you that they are not willing to at least give the minimal service a customer should receive. The process of obtaining a loaner takes longer than the approval process to buy a new vehicle at Clay Cooley Kia. The attendant who handles the loaner car program is rude and unprofessional. She was not prepared and was quite disrespectful to myself and colleges that work with me. She does not posses an “I can” attitude but more like “what do you want now” attitude. I can see that she most likely learned this from her Manager who manages the service dept at Clay Cooley Kia. My company purchased our fleet of vehicles from Clay Cooley Kia and I am the responsible party for buying and taking care of all the needs of the fleet for our company. I will never purchase any further vehicles from Clay Cooley Kia again nor will I take them to Clay Cooley Kia again for services. Their lack of service demonstrated by their employees is a poor reflection on all brands by Clay Cooley. If you value respect, honesty, and professionalism then I recommend going some other place other than Clay Cooley Kia. More
