BEWARE CAR SALESMAN LIED I purchased a Hyundai Palisade on October 31st at Clay Cooley Hyundai. Our sales guy Daniel was very dishonest and made a promise to us that we would receive all weathe Palisade on October 31st at Clay Cooley Hyundai. Our sales guy Daniel was very dishonest and made a promise to us that we would receive all weather floor mats if we came in and purchased the car with him. After coming in on Halloween, their system went down for hours... (expect to be there all day) The story changed a little bit and Daniel shared that the all-weather floor mats were out of stock and that they would have to mail them to us with our plates. The dealership has a paper they call "I owe you" which is supposed to outline anything the dealer owes you that isn't delivered the day of purchase. When I asked why the floor mats were not on the paper, our sales guy told us that it wasn't necessary because they were "included with the car" and that he would personally make sure that they were sent via FedEx to us. Shame on me for trusting Daniel because he was lying. Over the next several weeks we followed up multiple times to see when we were going to receive the floor mats. Every time we followed up it was the same answer, that they were still out of stock but they would be mailed to us as soon as they came in. 5 months now have passed and we still have not received the floor mats. Today I spoke with the GM, Armando. He was unwilling to make the situation right. Looking back, I wish I would not have bought the car at this dealership because it is clear that they do not care about taking care of their customers and hire shady sales people that live up to the stereotype of what everyone thinks a car sales person is. We will not be coming back to Clay Cooley ever again. More
Unfortunate the Easycare contract that I was told was not an option when I bought the car. This car has a chip in windshield and I must have the full contract emailed to me in order to get a repair scheduled an option when I bought the car. This car has a chip in windshield and I must have the full contract emailed to me in order to get a repair scheduled based on my phone call with easycare. I didn't notice the chip until I got way down the road. I just want the full contract emailed. The finance manager said he gave it to me but I only have page 1- signature page I am missing pages 2-8 according to the signature page-says 1 of 8. I have talked with salesperson and she continues to give me the same information from finance saying I have the contract. I KNOW what a contract looks like and when it says refer to Section 2 and I have no document with Section 2. I assure you once I have the document and can get the service I paid for- not wait 30 days as was told by Taylor last Friday, I will be of no bother to anyone at that dealership. EVER. Thanks in advance More
