Way too much time to have battery replaced My battery failed and I was able to get a jump start from a friend and made it to the dealership. While I was surprised that my battery I purchased in Sept 2012 still had warranty I waited way way too long and then was disappointed by the service guys explanation as to why the new battery will be warranty for the remainder of the old batteries life. The first issue was when I arrived I was told the parts may not be there and the car may be in more than one day. It turned out the parts were there and it was done that day but they should have told me that up front. I also had and oil change and a state inspection and both of them went great and were reasonably priced. The second issue was I wanted to get a quote(quote only-I knew parts for this may take a while)) to repair some leather trim, driver seat trim, and the driver lumbar support. I was told the car would have to be left for at least three days before they could even look at those items to get a quote. I don't know if they are too busy or too segregated in departments or trim is outsorced but I was disappointed that I was not able to get this part of my car looked at so I will now take it to another repair shop or body shop. More

Absolutely the worst service I have ever seen. On Friday morning, I made an appointment to have my car diagnosedthe following Wednesday. I took it in on Wednesday morning and was told they had me o On Friday morning, I made an appointment to have my car diagnosedthe following Wednesday. I took it in on Wednesday morning and was told they had me on the list to bring in my car, but not in on the list to be diagnosed. The diagnostic dept was backed up 3-5 days. They had no idea why that would be a problem for me and didn’t care. No offer of a reason; not even an apology. I took it to Hooks Lincoln in Fort Worth; they diagnosed it in 6 hours and 5 of those were spent with a 5 hour pressure test on the coolant system. I’ll never go back to Don Davis and will tell everyone I know not to go. I was told this dealership was not service oriented, but I gave them a chance. If I could rate this less than one star I would. More

Always Has Long Waits I have to start by saying I had an excellent buying/financing experience here. When I purchased my vehicle, I decided to also purchase the Care Guard I have to start by saying I had an excellent buying/financing experience here. When I purchased my vehicle, I decided to also purchase the Care Guard maintenance package, which included oil changes at no additional cost to me. The first time I needed an oil change, I made an appointment but I STILL had to sit in the waiting area for over 3 hours. I chalked it up to coming in on a weekend. The second time I needed an oil change, I came in the middle of the day on a Monday without an appointment and I STILL had to wait over 3 hours (3.5 to be exact) for an OIL CHANGE. My advice is for Don Davis to either hire more techs or to pay the ones they have a higher wage in order to become more efficient or to do both. More
