Disappointed When I purchased the Lincoln MKX my choices were either this one or a Lexus RX350. I was swayed to go with Lincoln (and remain loyal to the Ford bra When I purchased the Lincoln MKX my choices were either this one or a Lexus RX350. I was swayed to go with Lincoln (and remain loyal to the Ford brand) because your sales rep made the sale based on your offer of the Red Cap service, which is no longer available. After asking five people at your dealership re. Red Cap Svc, somebody finally admitted that y'all are not a Lincoln dealership anymore and don't have access to Red Cap. (Heard all kinds of tales, the best one "we've discontinued red cap temporarily during the CV-19 crisis). I am disappointed (A) that you discontinued a service that you sold (but now don't want to stand behind), and (B) with Red Cap my auto was always returned vacuumed and with a car wash - not so any longer, no car wash, no clean up - but you did get me out of there in under 90 minutes. I HAD AN APPOINTMENT AT 3:30 PM MONDAY AFTERNOON, THEY TOOK FOR EVER TO HELP ME SET IN THE CAR FOR A WHILE TILL I WAS HELPED, I JUST NEEDED AN OIL CHANGED AND THE TIRES ROTATION & BALANCE, THE CAR HAS BEE TOOK FOR EVER TO HELP ME SET IN THE CAR FOR A WHILE TILL I WAS HELPED, I JUST NEEDED AN OIL CHANGED AND THE TIRES ROTATION & BALANCE, THE CAR HAS BEEN MAKING A SOUND WHEN I TURN LEFT IT SOUNDS LIKE THE WHEEL BEARING IS GOING OUT BUT EVERY TIME I TAKE IT IN THEY CAN NEVER HEAR THE NOISE OR FIND ANYTHING WRONG WITH THE CAR,IT HAS BEEN MAKING IT MORE OFTEN LATELY SO I WANTED TO GET IT CHECKED AGAIN AND I WAS THERE FOR TWO AND HALF HOURS AND JUST TO FIND OUT THAT THEY ARE CLAIMING THAT IS NOT THE BEARING GOING OUT BUT A TIRE THAT IS MAKING THE NOISE BECAUSE IS WEARING OUT MORE THAN THE OTHER THREE TIRES ON THE CAR SINCE THERE IS NO MECHANICAL FAILURE WITH THE FRONT END OF THE CAR AND IT SHOULD BE A FACTORY DEFECT SO THE WARRANTY OF THE TIRES WHICH HAVE LESS THEN 10,000 MILES AND THEY ARE 60,000 MILES TIRES AND I BOUGHT THE CAR BRAND NEW FROM DON DAVIS THEY SHOULD BE ABLE TO REPLACE IT OR MAKE A WARRANTY CLAIM ON THE TIRE WHICH THEY WERE NOT WILLING TO DO INSTEAD THEY WANTED TO CHARGE ME $250 FOR THE TIRE BECAUSE THEY DO NOT CARRY THE TIRE ON THE CAR BUT THOSE ARE THE TIRES THAT CAME WITH THE CAR THAT I BOUGHT NEW FROM THEM AND THEY WANTED TO CHARGE ME $50 FOR CHECKING THE CAR WHICH STILL UNDER WARRANTY FROM FORD.. 😡😡😡 I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THE SERVICE THAT I GOT OVER ALL WAISTED TWO AND A HALF HOURS OF MY TIME FOR NOTHING WORST SERVICE EVER AND THEY WANTED ME TO PAY THEM $300 ON TOP OF THAT 😡😡😡 I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANY ONE TO DON DAVIS FORD SERVICE DEPARTMENT. Free oil change I was greeted very nicely, I was the second customer in line and upon the greeting I asked what the cost would be, he replied it would be free for the I was greeted very nicely, I was the second customer in line and upon the greeting I asked what the cost would be, he replied it would be free for the first year for my Lincoln Aviator. I was very pleased. The service advisor came out and I advised here that I had been told that my oil change would be free. She said she did not know about that but that she would check. She came back awhile later and gave me the bad news that it would be almost $40. I then asked about the replacement key covered under the insurance you provided me upon the purchase of this $75.000 car. She said it would take an hour, Second in line and I would have to wait an additional hour, why. She offered the free car wash but said it would be another 45 minutes additional. Slow, slow, slow. I hope I got the correct oil, It was only $5 a quart on the receipt Can you please confirm that I got the correct oil ? Thank you More
