LONG WAIT FOR AN INSPECTION I was the first person to pull up at 6:15 on 6/23/20. When the door was open at 7:00 I pulled in and right after that the power went out. I set in a d I was the first person to pull up at 6:15 on 6/23/20. When the door was open at 7:00 I pulled in and right after that the power went out. I set in a dark waiting room for 2 hours waiting for the lights to come on. At 9 AM the power came back on. (I don't fault the dealership for the power outage. However, when the lights came back on, I had to wait 1 hr and 45 minutes for the state inspection to be completed. I could have gone to Firestone and gotten in and out within 30 minutes. This isn't the first time this has happened. I waited almost a half day for my car to go thru inspection and once again...I was the first person in line. The service technician asked for my business and said a delay like that would never happen again. On the occasion before this, my battery had gone out. I had bought the original battery there. I paid for insurance and the insurance company would have paid for the towing to and from your dealership. I was told that I had to be there to sign for the work. I explained I had no way to get there. A new battery there would have cost me $30-$40. I made several calls trying to work this out. What ended up happening was that my insurance company towed my car from my home to Firestone and back at no charge. Firestone did not require me to sign anything. However, the battery ended up costing me $386. My car is 13 years old. I had planned on buying a Ford. I am very hesitant to do business with your dealership. More
