My service rep told me the truck was there and ready for pick up. In fairness the body shop miles away is still part of clay cooley so I guess it counts as there. He welcomed me pleasantly and said he would meet me out front with my truck. 5 minutes later he came out with another gentleman feeding me a line that this guy he just brought had the only key card to the body shop gate. Again not onsite. I waited 45 minutes to get my truck that was ‘ready for pick up’. When he finally returned with my truck. Upon my inspection the not only got half way with my problem (gap between the hood and grill’ but now there was also a clip protruding from the front bumper onto the grill. When I pointed it out to Robert after he joyously proclaimed ‘all ready’. He texted Gary to see what to do. Which turned into another trip to the body shop to fix. In fairness I have FordPass and knew my truck was not there. But I also knew the body shop manager Gary who seems quite nice and knowledgeable told me they did what they could on Tuesday and would call the dealership to pick it up. No response on Wednesday even though I texted Robert to check in. Thursday was the current day and I texted twice and had to make a phone call to find out it was ready and waiting. Anywho skipping to the part where he shows up with my ‘fixed truck’. The gap was better but was not completely fixed. The only answer that everyone kept repeating from the sales manager to the body shop manager and eventually the young Robert was ‘sometimes ford has defects and it is what it is’. Best idea of why Robert has a job based on my interaction with him is nepotism. Because if anyone has any remotely similar to mine is because his father or uncle are hiding these surveys. Either way my truck still has a gap at the hood after two ‘trips’ with Robert. More
I didn't know the dealership switched to Clay Cooley. However,I was assigned a new service advisor when I called.
