My remote start hadn’t worked since I purchased the car in 2016, but I never had it checked. Grapevine Ford dealership told me I needed a new battery and electrical work. It was what I read in the manual was likely the problem. It was what I had told Grapevine Ford, that it was likely the alarm because it was so sensitive.
