Don Davis Ford was recommended to me by my husband who is a Don Davis Nissan customer. My experience with selection, test drives, and even going to get a truck I was interested in from a person they loaned i a Don Davis Nissan customer. Ryan was very efficient and there was no pressure to buy anything extra. I will say that by the time you are at a dealership for over 6 hours you are tired and ready to go. When signing the contract I briefly looked over and signed. However, I paid sticker and upon reviewing the contract at home the MSRP on the contract was $2500 higher than the sticker. When we returned the next day to bring the title to my trade-in we spoke with Chad. He explained that we should have looked at the internet price because the difference in price was "dealer add-ons". Granted, some trucks on the lot had an envelope sized tag in the windshield with the MSRP and a dealer add-on figure with a new total. Note this is not near the window sticker. The truck I purchased did not have any extra tags anywhere noting that there were "dealer-add-ons" that affected the bottom line. Who carries their phone around a dealership making sure the truck you are looking at is the price listed? Anyway, Chad made it right. The contract was rewritten for the window sticker price. I was happy with the outcome but I think that the dealership should be more clear about what the final price is and what exactly the dealer add-ons are. I still don't know what the add-ons were for my truck. I also wonder how many people this gets over on. There is a spot on the contract for add-ons so the cost should be listed there. Overall I was very pleased with my choice of truck, the selection at the dealership and the courtesy of the staff. More
