While I did end up getting the car I wanted (Red 2014 Escape), I had to go back three times after the paper work was "done" to finalize things. First, they couldn't tell me when my car would actually arrive from the other dealer, and when they did tell me, I got three different answers. Second, we only did half of the paper work because they didn't want to redo all of it if the car wasn't the right one. I was then asked to come in the next morning at 10 to finish paper work even though they hadn't gotten the car yet. My car didn't get there until about 5:00 that night and then when I was told to arrive we had to wait another hour for them to do the initial entry paperwork which had nothing to do with me. Then there was a problem with the gas truck arrival and I wasn't going to get a full take of gas as promised and I'd have to come in the next day to fill up. After going through the car to make sure everything was right it was missing the protective floor mats and the cargo cover. The sales associate went back to get the floor mats but no cover was found. I had to go back about 3-4 days later to get one that they had to bring over from the other dealer. So now it's been a full week before my car was complete minus my plates. I think everything is great and they'll call once my plates get in. So I wait, and wait, and wait, and no call for my plates. I, and my very displeased father, called several times to see if my plates were in, but no one could find out or get anyone in the department to answer the phone. Finally, about a week before my temporary plates would expire I just drove up to the dealer and spoke with the manager to get my plates which had been in for weeks! NO ONE called my cell or home phone, both which have voice mail services. Now to be fair the first 2013 Escape I bought went well. However, no one called to tell me my plates were in for that car either. When it comes time to buy either another Ford, or even a Lincoln, I do not think I will be using Don Davis again. I'll go somewhere else. More

This was the greatest car buying experience we've ever had. We drove all the way from Oklahoma City on a Tuesday night to purchase our new truck. Willie was so friendly!!! The whole staff was. This was our 5th and 6th vehicles purchased from Don Davis Ford Lincoln and all have been purchased from Will Clark. In the auto business, employees move around a lot, but it is really nice to find a Davis Ford Lincoln and all have been purchased from Will Clark. In the auto business, employees move around a lot, but it is really nice to find a dealership whose staff sticks around, and the reason is that they do business right! We trust Will and the staff here. It is so pleasant to not feel like you have to be on the lookout for a scam or some sort of trickery, either in the sales experience or in finance. It is also great to be remembered and recognized as a good repeat customer. that only happens with a great staff and a long time commitment to doing things the right way. Even in Finance, the folks there recognize us and welcome us back. there is no high pressure or pushing a lot of additional fees. they offer, explain the benefits and help you decide what is right for you and what works. David has been awesome and even went above and beyond to work with the lenders to get us a better rate than what was initially offered. We have referred several folks to Will and the team here and all have come away with the same overwhelming opinion that they never know car shopping and buying could be so much fun and so effortless! To me, Daniel Reyes is my very own service man and he is the very best. He is always polite, has a welcoming attitude no matter what time of the day, takes time and makes the effort to keep me up to date through out the day when I chose to wait on my car. I realize that my car is spoiled and so am I but Daniel plays my game and makes sure that my car remains in that very special condition just like it were brand new, even though it is now 14 months old. Last week I traded in the Taurus for a smaller Focus. I expect Daniel to keep this tiny car in as good condition as the bigger car with 20" wheels. I know how kind he has always been, how he truly listens to hear what I am trying to say and sees that everything is done to perfection. I believe he is the best service rep in this company.
