My friend, Ron Haker directs them to Mr. Willy Woodward, Sales Representative with Don Davis Auto Group. Willy Woodard has assisted at least five students with purchasing preowned vehicles. He is an exceptional person with Excellent Professional Customer Service Skills! My son drives a 2009 Ford Escape with 350,000 miles on it, his wife drives a 2013. In April my daughter needed a newer car, we went to see Willy Woodard,...Amazed! Excellent! He found the perfect Escape for her,. She was delighted. Willy is everything Ron had said. My turn! Went to see Willy yesterday! Again Willy presented various options, his goal was to locate the car I really wanted at my price. He succeeded! Another Escape! Thank you! Lies, broken promises and deception I apologize in advance for the long read. DO NOT GO TO DON DAVIS LINCOLN FORD under any circumstance for any reason. I recently turned my lease in on I apologize in advance for the long read. DO NOT GO TO DON DAVIS LINCOLN FORD under any circumstance for any reason. I recently turned my lease in on my 2014 Lincoln MKZ. I decided to save some money this go around and switch to a new Fusion. The deal was worked with Nino, who is the lone bright spot in the building but left for vacation that evening and has missed all of this insanity. The agreed upon amount was $345 for 72 months. I get to finance and before he attempts to upsell me anything, he is preparing paperwork to print out and sign and says it is going to be $460 per month. I tell him that is incorrect and unacceptable. I have tier 1 credit (838 score) and they try to give me a 6+% interest rate..... He then leaves me in his office for nearly 30 minutes and returns and says I was negotiating with banks to get your rate down. Then, miraculously, my payment is down to $361 per month. After review, I see 3 additional months (75 total) were added to the deal. He did not disclose that information, I had to come to that conclusion and ask myself. I am defeated at this point and decided instead of starting this process over at 5 star ford, I would bite the loss of $16 per payment and finalize the deal even though it is going to cost me $2200 in extra money spent all said and done. As I am going over the paperwork and details I notice there are two service packages on the paperwork, listed as Careguard or in that area. The amount was right around $1800 and I inquired about it. Tony in financed explained this was a a bumper to bumper coverage on the vehicle and included oil changes and tires if issues do arise. I said, "Do I have to have this" and he responded, "Yes". I said, "Just to make sure I understand, this isn't optional". He said, "To get all of your rebates you have to have it". Which is in the least unethical and a lie and at worst a law violation, which I found out after the fact. My last MKZ payment was auto withdrawn from my account a few days later on top of all of this. $552. We were unaware that this wouldn't be cancelled by the dealership. When I realized this I went in to speak to the GM and he was not there. I instead spoke to a new car manager. I cannot remember his name, but it was not Tim it was the other new car manager that sits up front. He explained to me that they don't have any way of knowing that I am on auto deduct on the lincoln payment and I should have cancelled that. I responded with saying I didn't know this was something I needed to worry about after the vehicle was traded in. He said he would see if there was anything he could do to get my money back. I also told him about the additional charges in finance that I was told were not optional and he said I misunderstood and some stuff is included. So he placed the blame on me and told me he would email me cancellation paperwork to get the money sent to the lean holder. I have yet to receive an email from him and now it has almost been a week................................. I wouldn't recommend Don Davis Lincoln Ford to my worst enemy. Make the extra drive and head to 5 star or Waxahachie where you can get the Ford product without the poor and unethical business practices Don Davis has recently afforded me. The last time we purchased a vehicle I dealt with new car manager Jonathon Douglass who treated us fairly and was upfront. My how times changed at Don Davis and they have lost a repeat customer for good. I haven't even mentioned how poorly the service department did. They had my car to put remote start in it, plus put my rims and speakers in it. They had my car for 3 days and I was told 7am of the fourth day it would be ready for pick up. I arrived and they couldn't even find my car or record of it being there. I waited for an hour after working all night and once located they informed me the work was not complete. But no one notified me so I was sent on my way. I went back the following day to pick it up and the remote start was not installed and they told me I would have to bring it back the following week whenever I choose........ No loaner available either...... I work for Arlington Fire and my wife is pregnant. I have no idea when I will be able to go back to the dealership for the 5th time in a two week period..... More
outstanding customer buying experience ! i've heard of the don davis auto group (radio/tv advertising) , but knew nothing of their philosophy or integrity . we were in the market for a lincol i've heard of the don davis auto group (radio/tv advertising) , but knew nothing of their philosophy or integrity . we were in the market for a lincoln mkc with multiple dealerships to choose from . i listen to the jerry reynolds car pro show on the weekends and subscribe to his newsletter . i know of jerry's reputation and integrity . so , i went to his website and went with jerry's recommendation and used the vip process and the rest is history . it was absolutely the best car buying experience that I've ever had . xavier echendu was my point of contact from start to finish . we took care of the initial pricing and selecting options by email before i arrived at the dealership . when we arrived , the car was ready for the test drive and xavier walked us through the entire process . there was no pressure from anyone to buy or add on any extra options and the proverbial paperwork in the finance department was a breeze . thank you xavier and jerry ! steve w. Terrible I would not recommend this place. I bought a 2014 f150 April 28th, 2017. It was a certified preowned, I have put 7000miles on it. I took it in for a o I would not recommend this place. And I asked them about the brakes, ac and my front left speaker is ratteling. I paid 25,840.45$ for this truck and I have put 7000miles on it. It should not Need anything this soon, except A change the oil. The brake should be new the ac should blow cold and the speaker I understand. I could understand if this was a cheap cash car but it's not. And then the lady is telling me I need a coolant flush and brake flush and a new air filter. I feel like this stuff should have been done before i bought it sense it was a certified preowned and when I asked her about it. Especially the coolant it was basically like because you have driven it so much in the last two months. This may be petty but 25k is a nice chunk of change and for that price it should not need anything this soon. I will not be back. This place has lost my business I feel very ripped off. It took two and a half hours for a oil change. More
