Body Shop turned into Service Center Firstly, I'd like to recognize Peter Lim at the Don Davis Dodge Chrysler Jeep sales team. Peter is great and has followed-up with me several times sin Firstly, I'd like to recognize Peter Lim at the Don Davis Dodge Chrysler Jeep sales team. Peter is great and has followed-up with me several times since I purchased my 2017 Ram 1500 in October of 2017. Now for the bad news. My truck was damaged on the rear bumber and tailgate last month so I decided to use Don Davis Body Shop since that is where I purchased my truck. About a week after I dropped it off I called to get a status report since I had not been contacted by my contact Rick yet. He said the truck was in paint and should be ready in a day or two. After a few back-and-forth calls the truck was ready to be picked up, this was on Thursday (8/16) so I took an Uber to the Body Shop to pick up my truck. On the way there Rick called and asked if I had been having problems with my battery to which I responded no. The truck is not even 1 year old so no issues at all. Rick stated that they could not get the battery to hold a charge and that they had it moved to the Service Center. So that's $40 on Uber that I'm out of pocket on. The next day (Friday 8/17) I give it until mid-day and call the Service Center since I had not received a follow-up call yet. The gentleman that I was connected to informed me that they had not had a chance to look at my truck yet and that I did not need to go to the dealer yet. A few hours later I did receive a call to pick up the truck and when I arrived I was not treated very kindly, shuffled to the pay counter and my truck was driven into the bay. The truck was very dirty and upon inspection of the work done the bumper has some stains on the chrome that I was not able to remove. Also, one of the sensors is still missing. Rick did mention that this part was on backorder and that I would have to return to get this installed. That is understandable but left me wondering. The old bumper had 4 sensors that were not damaged and functional when I dropped off the truck. Couldn't one or all of them be repurposed and installed on the new bumper? I love my 2017 Ram 1500 Lonestar and again my interactions with Peter Lim have been fantastic. We are likely in the market to upgrade my wife's vehicle in 2019 and she has her eye on a Jeep Grand Cherokee. I'm sure I will return and work with Peter again but I don't believe I will ever use Don Davis Body or Service shops again. More
The entire staff was super courteous and prompt, I went in for a recall on my SUV. I was greeted promptly and the turnaround on my vehicle was very fast ! All the staff was very courteous.
