I purchased a white 2011 Grand Cherokee Overland on 2/5/11 from this dealer. Over all I would say this was the best new car buying experience. I was looking for a 2011 Grand Cherokee and called Don Davis Jeep because I was unhappy with the way I was being treated at another Jeep experience. I was looking for a 2011 Grand Cherokee and called Don Davis Jeep because I was unhappy with the way I was being treated at another Jeep dealership. I was lucky to get Matt Smith on the phone. Matt listened closely to what I was looking for and called me back with in 2 hours. He even texted me the price and 2 pictures! He kept in touch over the next 2 days while I made my decision. He was attentive, but not over baring. When my husband and I were able to make it into the dealership, it was about 8:00pm and they close at 9:00pm. We didn't feel rush or pushed to "do the deal" even though it was very late at night. The sales manager and the finance manager were there to make sure the trade was made and the financing was taken care of. I felt very comfortable with the entire experience. Matt followed up the next day to see how everything was going and make sure I was perfectly happy with my purchase and I AM! Matt was very knowledgeable and professional. He did a great job of explaining all of the wonderful amenities in my NEW 2011 Grand Cherokee. I would do business with them again. They took VERY GOOD care of me. More
I bought a 2009 Dodge Journey, and have had nothing but problems. I have taken it back 4 times, the problems still are there. When I bought the car, the antenna was missing. I asked that they replace it, a problems. I have taken it back 4 times, the problems still are there. When I bought the car, the antenna was missing. I asked that they replace it, and it took me going to 5 people to get it sent to me. My front suspension still grindes on turns, my transmission still has a hard shift from first to second, and cuts out on me from time to time when going from reverse to drive, and it is an automatic. Everytime i turn off the windshield wipers, my dash lights dim. Nothing has been fixed, and only 2 of the for times have been documented. I am filing it as a lemon, and they can not produce the other two tickets from bringing it in. They asked me to bring the car back and they could get me into a working one, but I have to pay another down payment and refinance through the bank again. They have been no help what so ever. Now I find out that my coolant tank is leaking and needs a total replacement. Dont waist your time there. They smile in your face and are your best friend, but turn around and skrew you. More
I purchased a 2008 Chevy Silverado about a month ago. about a week after driving off the lot I noticed that their was no spare tire or jack. After driving for a while, i find out the front driver tire has a plug and leaks air, also tried to call the dealer for that, no return call. WORST dealer i have ever dealt with!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! I'll be calling a lawyer! More
I bought a 2009 Charger from this dealership back in April of this year. When we decided to trade in our Impala we went to 2 differnet Chevy dealerships and after 3 weeks of being jerked around and lie April of this year. When we decided to trade in our Impala we went to 2 differnet Chevy dealerships and after 3 weeks of being jerked around and lied to, we decided to give up on Chevy and go back to Don Davis. I AM SO HAPPY THAT WE DID!!!! Just when we thought we were going to be stuck with the Impala, I received a phone call from my sales man (Jim Duff) and a phone call from the used cars manager (Justin) that they had 2 truck that would work and would be within the price range we were looking for. We discussed which truck would be the best fit and made a decision. We got there about 6pm and was out of there by 7pm!! Prior to our arrival, the truck had been cleaned and fueled, the financing had already been taken care of AND THE BEST PART, they payments were $30 less than what we expected and the interest rate was 10% lower than we were approved for at the Chevy dealerships!! We bought a 2009 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad cab, certified used vehicle, with warranty. The truck is beautiful and the service and people there are GREAT to work with, they have converted us from a Chevy family to a Dodge family. I will NOT buy from another dealership! This dealer wasted my time and money. I found a car there and I asked all the questions I could think including does this car make any noises when driven. Upon traveling over 4hrs. one way, the car ha there and I asked all the questions I could think including does this car make any noises when driven. Upon traveling over 4hrs. one way, the car had an after market muffler which sounded terrible. I could not buy the car with it, and they wanted to charge me $400 more to change it. The price was already too high and I went back home without it. It was part my mistake for not asking them if it had any after market parts on it, but since I was traveling so far, they had to know how the importance of informing me of everything that I might not like. It sounded like a lawnmower was inside the car with me. You cannot overlook that. More
Their Service Dept. stinks. They do not do what they say they are going to do. Told them to submit work to Insurance Co., instead they submitted it to Chrysler for them to pay under warranty work. Since I am still having overheating problems with my PT Cruiser, the insurance company will not reopen the ticket because it has been more than 90 days since Don Davis did not bill them for the work. Don Davis will not honor their warranty since it is not the part they replaced, but it still the same problem, overheating. They want $170.00 to replace a fuse and an additonal $402.00 to replace the A/C hose and add freon for a total of $572.00. They bought out Mid-Cities Chrysler last year and I never had a problem with their work or warranties. I feel Don Davis is crooked and know when you are down so they can kick you in the teeth. In May when they first worked on my Cruiser it took 8 days to get my car back. More
So much to explain, but just completely rude. No knowledge of good customer service or courtesy. I couldn't even believe everything that took place...just unbelievable and I seriously mean that. Treated like a child when we are grown adults in our mid 30's. Please watch who you let service your vehicle considering these are large investments we make and we all need some friendly-helpfull people to deal w/when things put our vehicles out of service... in the middle of traffic on your way to work in the rain.!! Thank you!! More
