Had a great experience with Izabella and the entire team while purchasing a new Jeep. They were quick to get back to me on availability and answered questions I had before I made trip to the dealership for while purchasing a new Jeep. They were quick to get back to me on availability and answered questions I had before I made trip to the dealership for the test drive. They had the Jeep I wanted at a competitive price. The entire purchase process was transparent and efficient which I greatly appreciate. Highly recommend! More
Rudy was great to work with and he didn’t nickel and dime me. He said to me, “Sir I’m not going to lose your business over a few hundred dollars.” At least I didn’t experience the usual drama of, “Let me che me. The dealership did a great job, but this 15 word minimum need to be shut down. Don’t need to give a statement of what I think about the dealership. need to be shut down. Don’t need to give a statement of what I think about the dealership. More
Why would I not recommend this dealer in the future? · The nonnegotiable “Family Care” of $995 · The inability to purchase on a credit card · The negligence to rectify a known · The nonnegotiable “Family Care” of $995 · The inability to purchase on a credit card · The negligence to rectify a known hazardous situation in their parking lot · The “hidden” addition of a GPS tracking system · Selling a vehicle with an easily diagnosable, substantially expensive (15% of the purchase price) leak I purchased a used 2010 Jeep Wrangler Sport on December 26th from Clay Cooley CDJR in Arlington, TX. My sales rep, Rudy Garcia, was genuinely friendly, agreeable and helpful. We took an extended (approximately 5 mile) test drive in the rain. We negotiated a fair price. I tried several times to get the 3-year Family Care ($995) removed but they lowered the out the door price enough to where I stopped negotiating over it. I was never provided with a copy of what it entails but it is on their website. Since the dealer is 40 miles away, it is really not very useful. They were unable to explain why I could not put the full purchase price on my credit card. I wanted the points and had cash on the way to pay it off the next week. I have done this with two motorcycles without an issue. I agreed on their imposed maximum of $3,000 deposit on the card and I would provide the rest as soon as I got the funding. Since it was after hours preventing me from getting my insurance coverage and I was leaving town for Christmas; I left the vehicle with them to wash, fix 2 windshield chips, perform state inspection and tag it. Back in town and with a check for the balance in hand, I returned Dec 31 to pick up the Jeep. While turning into the Collins Street entrance (across from Waffle House), I hit the gate post resulting in approximately $4,000 in damages to my 2014 Ford F-150. The post is only 18” high and extends far into the parking lot. It is obvious, the post has been hit many times. A friend of mine confirmed he hit the same post a couple years ago with nearly the same damage. We had it towed to Clay Cooley Ford, where interestingly enough, the same gates are installed but they put large orange traffic cones on them to increase visibility. It is a known issue, it needs to be fixed. Exploring a lawsuit at the time of this review. While I was waiting for the tow truck, I completed the transaction and got the keys to the Jeep. Shortly after, I got an email and text from Elo GPS. I did not ask for this nor was there anything in the paperwork they gave me a copy of, describing this subscription service. It was not a financed vehicle, so why is there a need to equip my vehicle with a tracking system? I removed the system and contacted Elo GPS for a refund, but they will not provide one, nor would Clay Cooley. It seems they were really unaware how insulting this is to the average consumer. On Saturday, January 4th I was driving the Jeep and it was chilly so I turned the heat on. Antifreeze vapor and a coolant smell filled the Jeep. I googled it to find I have a leaking heater core. This is a $1400 to $2000 repair. It would have been a deal breaker. Being new to Jeeps, this was not something I noticed on the test drive or on the drive home in warmer weather, but it should have been caught during the dealer’s pre-sales inspection. You expect this kind of negligence from a “buy here, pay here” dealer, but not from a company like Clay Cooley. If anyone thinks I m being unfair to Clay Cooley, I had vastly better experiences with Grapevine Ford, Ft Worth Harley, Ft Worth Indian, Black Gold Harley and Vandergriff Toyota in the past. I highly recommend any of them. I would have thought buying a used Jeep from a Jeep dealer would be the safest option. Lesson learned. More
I purchased my Ram truck from this dealership, and have had all maintenance work done here since that purchase. I now have over 55,000 miles on my truck. I have had zero mechanical issues since day one. had all maintenance work done here since that purchase. I now have over 55,000 miles on my truck. I have had zero mechanical issues since day one. The service department has regularly maintained my truck, and does a great job letting me know what work is needed to keep my truck in perfect running condition. My last visit was for an oil and filter change. No other maintenance was suggested at this time. The work was done quickly, and I have had no issues since. I will definitely continue to use this dealership to maintain my Ram. More
