We recently traded in an older auto and Peter Lee (also Peter Sy) helped us find two used car that were good choices for us. Peter proved it by driving to our home about 35 minutes away, picking me up, waiting for me to have my lunch, and then driving me to Classic Toyota. I was amazed at how process driven Peter was as we sat down, going over the details of the car and then surprised me a great deal. It was the first time I had gotten a deal with any Honda or Toyota. Peter then took me to my wife’s and my new car. Looking at the service bay I was amazed at every car station and how it was meticulously organized. The floor was immaculately clean. When Peter opened the hood for me to see the engine it was perfectly cleaned and polished for my view. I watched and observed what was going on around me. Staff and management acknowledged me yet were helpful when I asked questions and respected our privacy. Professionalism was all over the place. There was no obnoxious or loud talking or carrying by anyone on the floor or on the service bays. Being in the management consulting industry I felt like I was in one of the consulting offices I would travel to do project work. As I was observing this, I was asking myself why other dealerships could not create this kind of sales and services culture, showing respect for customers or prospects. Then I remembered the word and definition of classic. I then saw its significance and understanding the relationship to the name Classic Toyota.
