Friendly Car Buying Experience I think one of the worst feelings while out searching for the car is the pressure you receive from the salesman. Granted, it's their job to get your butt in the seat of their car, at Classic Subaru, I didn't feel pressured at all. The environment was very welcoming and the salesman (Gerard) had a very laid back approach. It was the same way with Eric (the manager). Everyone was very welcoming and thoroughly explained the whole process from start to finish. They followed up with me promptly with all of the paperwork and never left me questioning whether I had been a "one and done" ordeal. More

Awful sales experience I had a pretty strange experience here. I came in tonight very interested in trading my F30 335i in for a new BRZ. I've enjoyed the 335i but have regr I had a pretty strange experience here. I came in tonight very interested in trading my F30 335i in for a new BRZ. I've enjoyed the 335i but have regretted switching back to an auto transmission. Have read a lot about the BRZ/FRS/86 and it seems to have gotten rave reviews on being one of the best manual RWDs out there. Anyways, I came here interested in the BRZ and was flat out denied a test drive. Maybe it's because I didn't call ahead to schedule an appointment, but the salesperson (Gerard?) was pretty condescending and standoffish. I asked him about the car and asked if they had any available to test drive. His response: "Oh we don't do test drives on the BRZ or WRXs"..... um ok. I figured the guy was probably not taking me seriously so I asked why they wouldn't do test drives on cars that someone would be interested in purchasing. His response: "Let me ask you this, would you buy a Ferrari or Lamborghini without test driving?" At this point I almost laughed out loud. Did this salesperson just compare Subaru's to exotic Italian sports cars? I resisted laughing in his face and said "I would never buy a car without test driving it, no matter what it is." Gerard said, "Well it's a BRZ or WRX. Most people will know what they're getting." Pretty awful way of handling a potential customer. As pretentious as it sounds, I'm in a 2013 BMW 335i, it's not like I'm coming out here for a joy ride. Again, maybe I should have called ahead, but I've never really run into this kind of issue before. If that were the case though, they could have just asked me to schedule an appointment and I would have been fine doing that. I'll keep looking, but never here again. Thanks. More

While the previous owner was signing paperwork for her new car, our salesman hurriedly snuck us out the door so that we could put a hold on her car before she changed her mind. Good job! Also thanks for sneaking in the extra key. Love the key chains. Everything flew so fast that we didn't get a chance to test drive the car until after we bought it. Then Robert ran us in circles all over town which I think was his favorite maneuver. He sure is knowledgeable and most truly sincerely loves these cars. I highly recommend Robert Hynson and have already recommended him to a friend. I can't wait to hear about her experience. A big thank you the previous owner for taking such good care of OUR car. Also thanks to our friendly enthuastic salesman who made this our best car buying ever. Thank you, Pete and Ms. Brenda More

So I said, what the heck and I went to the d Someone suggested I take a look at a Subaru for my next purchase. Never thought of looking at one before. So I said, what the heck and I went to the dealership and thank goodness there were no vultures surrounding me. Actually the general manager came up to me and asked me could he help. He was wonderful, considerate, extremely polite and helpful. He put me with the best salesman ever, Liam Bennet. I learned about not just him, but his family and it became a friendship right off the bat. There was no pressure from anyone and I was able to go home overnight and make the best decision I needed to make for myself without no hassle. I would love to thank you guys for a wonderful experience and I am telling everyone about you. More

Classic Subaru's team was great and made the whole process easy. Gerard Perminter was especially great; he had been working with me for some time to find the car that fit my needs. We finally found my perfect Outback. I got a great deal on a 2010 Outback and got rid of my crummy hatchback. The finance department (I worked with Khal) was great and got my payments right where I needed them. They even had an insurance guy make sure that my policy was switched over to my new car. I had new insurance cards printed right there! I fully expect to be a lifelong Subaru driver, and Classic has earned my business. More
