During one of the most difficult times to buy a car, the staff at classic Mazda really came through. Daniel Pavilonis went above and beyond on all fronts. The only reason I gave two stars was because the general manager was great, and professional. Nick crea, on the other hand, way unprofessional. I honestly wasn’t gonna write a review until he copped an attitude with me. I had been discussing selling my car (21 CX-30) for roughly a week, give or take a couple days. I decided to do it, when I went into the dealership is only when he finally mentioned it would take time for you to get money for selling your car. I went ahead anyways; at the end I told him just for future references you might want to mention to sellers ahead of time they won’t get money same day. After that he had an attitude with me. So sellers beware, if you’re expecting cash the day you sell your car, I’d go to a different dealership, Nissan gives cash same day, so does Kia in North Olmsted. I will say they did get my check fast, though. More
Dropped of my 2017 Miata RF to have a new FOB registered. The previous owner had lost one of the FOBs and I had tried to have a Mazda FOB registered by a locksmith and it set the Keyless Entry Malfunction i The previous owner had lost one of the FOBs and I had tried to have a Mazda FOB registered by a locksmith and it set the Keyless Entry Malfunction indicator lamp. I told the service representative (SR) about the issue and they stated since my new FOB was purchased from an online Mazda dealer (much cheaper than purchasing from Classic's Parts Department) they couldn't guarantee it would work, even though it was a 100% OEM Mazda FOB. For this service, the SR quoted me $98 for the programming/registering of the new FOB so I scheduled an appointment. Fast forward to the service day, and after the service department had my car for 35 minutes, I am told by the SR that it will now cost me $140 instead of $98 for the programming since the technician had to delete my old FOB key code from the start-stop unit (SSU). Really, $140 for a few additional key strokes within the Mazda service software? Deleting the old FOB key code should be required anyway since the old FOB was lost. Why would Mazda not delete a lost FOB from the electronic SSU as part of the normal practice since the old FOB (if found) could be used to steal the car... It seems a 40% increase in quoted fees after the fact is way overboard for a simple keystroke to delete the previous key codes and then reprogram/re-register the new FOB... Needless to say, I am very weary about having them perform any work on my Miata RF on my own nickel since they are so free with my wallet. More

Bryan took time explaining to me the car that I would purchase, and have now all of its features, and answered every question that I had, and questions that I had not thought of. My experience at Classic Auto was beyond any service that I had received in a long time. Jim Brown's team greats everyone with a smile, and never leaves anyone feeling as if they were just a number, or a dollar sign. I will definitely recommend anyone that is looking for a car to purchase at a great price, and a place that provides quality care to their customers, Classic Mazda is the place to be. Our Story: Arranged to test drive a used CX-5 with 3k miles on it that was from the dealer's loan Overall Impression: Classic Mazda is a Class Act. Our Story: Arranged to test drive a used CX-5 with 3k miles on it that was from the dealer's loaner program. On our way there, the salesman, Lee Velazquez, called to say the person who test drove it before us bought the car. But there was a similar car available to test drive if we wanted. We kept our appt. and test drove the similar car. Liked it but wanted a package that it didn't have. Lee arranged to pull a car that met our specs out of the loaner program and sell it to us for same price of the car we were interested in initially. No bait and switch. Instead, Lee went above and beyond to get us the car we wanted for the price we expected. Through the whole process, Lee kept in touch via text and email so were able to get all the financing information and documents in their hands before we came to pickup the car. Everyone at the dealership was wearing full masks (not bandanas) and following COVID protocols. Very professional. Quick Tip: Dealer financing can take a while. So you may want to make your pick up appt. 2-3 hours before you want to get home. But considering how much time Lee saved us by getting our paperwork in order ahead of time, at Classic Mazda, it's worth the wait. More
