RUN AWAY AS FAST AS YOU CAN!!! DECEIT AND LIES!! I live in Texas and was looking at the Chevy Spark to replace my daughter’s vehicle. After finding one that I liked close to home, I expanded my sear I live in Texas and was looking at the Chevy Spark to replace my daughter’s vehicle. After finding one that I liked close to home, I expanded my search a little to see if there were any better deals out there. The Classic Chevrolet dealership in Lawton, OK was advertising a Chevy Spark for $10,041. I began corresponding with an internet salesperson about the vehicle. I advised that I needed to know what the bottom-line numbers would be because I live over 3 hours away. We corresponded throughout the entire day and I still had no clue what the numbers would be. I was very specific on what I needed to know but I could never get a straight answer out of her, just, when would you like to come in and take a test drive. Later that evening she called me, and I once again explained to her that I needed to know what the vehicle would cost after rebates, dealer add-ons, TTL, etc. It was obvious that she didn’t really know what she was talking about, so she had a colleague of hers call me. In about 20 minutes, he had some solid numbers for me and told me exactly what I needed to do to maximize all the rebates. After TTL, Doc Fees and all other applicable fees, the balance and total amount to be financed was $10,005 and some change. One of the stipulations was I had to finance through their bank to take advantage of all the rebates. (I had already been pre-approved through my credit union for a 3.5% rate) I asked if I could complete the credit app online and he stated he would send me a link via email. At this time, it was getting late and I asked if I could complete the application later that night and touch base with him the following day and he agreed. I completed the credit app that same night and emailed him to let him know that it had been completed and to let me know what the final numbers would be. I even thanked him for being upfront and to the point with me about everything. The following morning, I still had not heard anything from him, so I emailed him again. I still had no response, so I called the dealership and asked to speak to the him. They transferred me to his voicemail, and I left a message for him inquiring about the loan application and asked for him to call me back. No one ever contacted me that day. The next morning, I received a voicemail from him, advising that he attempted to call me the previous day. I have no missed calls, voicemails, messages or emails from the previous day from anyone at the dealership. He then advised that I had “phenomenal” credit and he wanted to get me the best rate possible but he needed a deposit. I then received an email from the other salesperson stating that based on the numbers she had been given by her colleague, my payment would be about $400 a month for 36 months. I responded to her with all the numbers that I had been given and advised her that in order to reach a $400 payment that I would have been charged a 26% interest rate. It was obvious that I was getting the run around again and no one would tell me any solid numbers. I had no problem giving them a deposit if we reached an agreement. I agreed with all of the numbers he originally gave me, but I needed to know what the interest rate would be before I committed to giving them a deposit. I understood the interest rate would have been a little higher to finance through the dealership so I could get the added rebate and would have accepted that if it was somewhere in the range of 5% to 7%. (which would have been double what I had already qualified for) But instead, they tried to play a numbers game with me by telling me that my payment would have been $400 a month for 36 months. What that tells me is that either I was lied to about the actual numbers they originally gave me or they were trying to charge me a 26% interest rate on a $10,000 loan, which is ridiculous. Either way, it was very disappointing and frustrating. I still have no idea as to what the real truth is on the price of the car and probably never will. I contacted the dealership to share my experience and was told that the salesperson included some “protection packages” that would be beneficial to me. He stated he is obligated by law to offer those packages and that he is just complying with the law. The last time I checked, when you offer someone something you should give them the opportunity to decline. I was never even told what these mysterious protection packages were. He went on to say that this was a busy time of the year and he was unable to call me to go over these options. How about an email? They both had my email address. Instead, they try to add these costs into the price of the car without any consent and try to get me to send them money to “hold” the car. I don’t even know what the thing costs! Thank the Lord I did not drive 3 hours to be this disappointed! That’s my 2 cents worth. Buyer Beware!! More

Worked out a price of 5340.00 which was supposed to have the document fees included in that price out the door cash money sale. After spending an hour there with 5340.00 cash in my pocket sales guy takes me to finance guy. They go in office scream and yell at each other in front of me. They then proceed to come out and tell me it was a misunderstanding and it will cost me another 399.00 in fees and was I alright with that. Well I wasn't and I was lied to. Place is unprofessional and managed by clowns. Car was all dented and scratched up and was in poor body shape to start. Maybe a 2500-3000 dollar car at most. I personally will never step foot in there again and don't mind one bit sharing my experience with all my colleagues, friends and family. Needless to say I walked out with 5340.00 cash in pocket a will never go back there. I recommend thinking twice before trying to close a deal with them. The fancy we love you commercials are just marketing tactics. More

We are up from Texas visiting for the holiday and our transmission module went out.....I called spoke with him after confirming with the parts department (parts department rocks too) they had one in stock and Isaias gave me a quote and asked when we could have the truck there. It ended up not shifting and I called him back. He gave me a number to a tow truck and said he would do his best to get us fixed today. Truck arrived there at 2:30 & we arrived shortly after. Someone was already pulling it in to complete a diagnosis, confirmed what we figured and at 5:20 pm we were on the road! What a great job, customer service and technicians they have. Everyone there was friendly and great! More

When dealing with the finance department, the got the customer name wrong, then could not immediatly correct the problem. Dispiute their assurance to get back with me the next day, it was three days. They then informed me that since my business was buying the vehicle, they could not give the interest rate they had promised, and even get close to that provided by my credit union. Shortly after hearing this from finance, the sales manager called to say that they could match the interest rate. They then agreed to accept my credit card, then called back to say they could only approve $4,000 dispite the business card having over a $30,000 limit.Another call and then contrary to Visa contract, they refused to accept the card at all. (Visa takes 3-4 weeks to investicate complaints) Needless to say, my credit union got the financing end of the deal. The owner only appologized but did nothing to aleviate my frustration. More
